Everything is made on the premises - from the homemade bread and marinated olives, to the petite fours at the end of your meal. We pride ourselves on using as much local fish and produce as possible, using fish that is sustainable and meat of which we know the source and is matured naturally and raised without anitbiotics. Peter Miles started the restaurant in 1999 and is as passionate about it now as he was then. Together with Paolo, Head Chef/Manager and the team at Storm we look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant soon.

We visited on a Monday night, the restaurant was busy with a lovely atmosphere.
Food was amazing, my husband had cockles, he has not eaten cockles since he was 9 years old, since we were in a nice fish restaurant he thought he would try them. He was not disappointed.
The whole experience of this wonderful little establishment, service, food, atmosphere and cost was very, very good.
I would highly recommend it.

A nice little restaurant serving mainly fish. Had the Goan fish curry which was really good. Service good and prices reasonable

Only criticism was that some of the tables were close together - my chair kept getting knocked when the waiting staff moved from table to table

Very slow service but plenty of staff? Strange! We ordered sides with our main but never received them. Food was very good though.

We were staying in Sandbanks for one night only to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Living near Bristol we do not know the area at all but had been told that Poole Quay was the best place to go for an evening meal - however having walked around for quite a while we didn't feel it lived up to expectations - until we passed Storm and thought how fascinating it looked. Through the window we could see a diner being served a fabulous meal of crab and this enticed us in. And how glad we were that we entered this fabulous, atmospheric little restaurant! A smiling Harad welcomed us and continued to be an excellent waitress all evening, along with her charming colleague. Our meal of crab starter, followed by whole lemon sole, and then a cheese selection was truly delicious, with portions all very generous. Our choice of wine was served at the perfect temperature. A wonderful meal to long live in our memory. Just a shame we live 2 hours away as we would otherwise definitely become regulars!
