I think people know what to expect from a Premier Inn. We choose one for stays usually not exceeding two nights and in places where the big chains are not in evidence. The problem is, they're not always that cheap and the skimping can be a bit grating. It is no surprise to find no air con but that starts to be a problem at this time of year. An open window lets in road noise and there is plenty at Holes Bay. The fan provided was reasonably effective and surprisingly quiet. I do not like the style of toilet tissue and soap/shampoo but I guess it's not going to change. What is annoying is that they provide two 'large' towels but only one medium - between two people. The pillows are thin enough to have inspired the discovery of graphene. However, there were no real surprises and the staff, always friendly, were helpful with a couple of queries I had. The wi-fi was good and this is something that has improved massively at Premier Inns - but they charge which is pretty mean.

Room tip: Tricky to avoid road noise on either side - the 'side road' is busy and driven fast.
