We snagged a deal with Premier Lodge for an overnight for £25-30 It was a bargain for me, my husband and our 2 small children.

As always the room was clean, the beds were made up etc.

The bathroom was a little dates but it didn't effect our stay at all.

Its a very large premier lodge but we didnt hear anything from other guests during the night. A very peaceful sleep and very comfortable one too.

When we got up we went for our breakfast in the adjoining restaurant. It was a hot and cold buffet style breakfast and at just under £17 for all 4 of us it was a bargain. The menu for the restaurant looked a little expensive for this type of venue, but we were so close to the beach we went to the Quay for super by the sea.

We would definitely go back here as even at full price, this is a great location and the facilities were perfect for us

Room Tip: we were on the ground floor (room 17) and it was lovely to not have to climb stairs with little ones

Booked a family room, the room looked a bit tired, bathroom looked dirty, room had a bathtub, I would have preferred a walk-in shower/ wetroom. Carpets need a good cleaning or a complete change.too much noise coming from traffic nearby, there is a dual carriageway right next to the hotel. No aircon so had to sleep with the window open. Though staff were friendly on the day. Breakfast was ok, works out cheaper if you book online. Find the price a bit pricey comparing to other competitors that are cleaner and fresh.

we visited during easter break , 2012. the hotel location was good, walking distance from the train station. But the room was ground floor, so couldnot get any glimpse of the sea. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was not good. (had to pay separate for it.)

Room Tip: do not choose a ground floor room

Although this hotel was in a good location for visiting the Dorset coast, the noise in the hotel was too high. People were constantly slamming doors and the room above were constantly jumping up and down.
