Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel
Ranked #5 of 13 Hotels in Poole
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed April 23, 2012

Having previously stayed at the Poole North Premier Inn and found the accommadation and food excellent we decided to return but stay at Holes Bay Premier Inn so that we could walk into town
Once again we were not disappointed, from the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful.
The room was exceptionally clean as was the rest of the hotel, it did not have the feel of a budget hotel.
We ate both nights we were there in the hotel restaurant and the food and service were very good indeed. We will definately return you cannot beat the value for money

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking the bay the view is wonderful

The receptionist was friendly and all of the house keeping I met were cheerful and welcoming.
I had an evening meal on Sunday the quality was good, the food was hot and plentiful.
The waitress was friendly and nothing was too much trouble, I was very impressed with the staff as a whole.
My room was ok but the bed sagged and I would suggest that the mattress needs replacing,
The price of the breakfast was excessive as I only wanted cereal but you have to pay an all in price of £8+, this would greatly influence my future choice of accommodation if I was able to pay for just what I eat.
The Sunday room price of £39 was good value for a short break but I have to go else where for my breakfast.

The receptionist was very obliging and put herself out to enable us to get access to a room early after a long drive.
The room was comfortable and the bathroom well laid out with a heated towel rail. The attached Diner was quite good and had a fair menu at reasonable prices. The standard was very high for the breakfast service and the porridge and then the full English breakfast was hot and well presented. The Diner has free internet access and the hotel has free access for half an hour.

It was as you'd expect from a Premier Inn, it was clean, a reasonable price, easy check in (although they initially charged us for too many breakfasts, but refunded as soon as I pointed out the error). The restaurant next door, Table Table, was excellent. Service a bit slow but all tables were filled so that's to be expected. I read on here that it was a long walk along a dual carriageway into the Poole Town Centre. However if you go through the staff car park there is a sign for a pedestrianised pathway which leads you direct to the centre without having to walk along the road. It took us about 15 minutes (with a 4 year old strolling along!) I would definately stay here again.

I stayed here for 2 nights and the room was of the normal Premier Inn standard, clean and tidy and a comfy bed. The Table Table restaurant next door is very nice and good value for money also and you can book a table via the Reception of the hotel. I would definitely come back again as its very convienent for Poole and for escaping to get back to the motorway again.

The room, decor, facilities were all of the normal high Premier standard and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is close to the ferry terminal for a nights stay. The restaurant is very pleasant and serves good food. It can be busy due to its location so book early.
The noise from the road is minimal and doesn't disturb you much at all.

Room Tip: get to hotel early as parking is a premium due to people using this hotel before getting a ferry.
