This restaurant is really worth a visit, the lunch time menu is super reasonable in price and the food was excellent. The pizza is huge and really tasty. Busy little place but we soon got a table and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Food all very fresh, excellent Mozzarella and tomato salad, good steak and chips, Peroni and Cappuccino to follow. Prompt and pleasant service.

Having walked passed this restaurant many times over the years, we have never seen anything from the outside which draws us to want to go in. The building is set back from the main Street and whilst there is a courtyard at the front, it is not a particularly attractive setting.

However, having read the excellent reviews of the restaurant on this site, we decided to try it.

We found the welcome from the waitresses was a very encouraging start. The service was good, the menu choice is fine and the food was excellent. Where this restaurant does score points is that it is excellent value for money, definitely cheaper than a few more renowned eating places in Poole.

Where it loses a few points is there is no atmosphere. I felt we were eating in a school dining hall, the room was so big. It's a personal preference, but I do like a smaller and cosier dining experience.

I have no doubt Ginali's will continue to flourish, it offers good food at a very reasonable price, and I am glad we went, but I will not be tripping over myself to go again.

Ate here on our last evening in Poole and the food was "out of this world"! all freshly prepared and cooked to order and it was lovely that they catered for children, with their own menu. We sat out in the little courtyard to eat and the waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. The only downside was, this lovely restaurant was right next door to a very noisy bar.
