“A great and atmospheric crossing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2013

What a great way to go from Sandbanks to Studland and the Purbecks; fantastic views, a quick and easy crossing. only trouble are the queues in busy periods but well worth a reasonable wait. I remember the previous ferries before this one which were half the size and had much longer waits. a great way to save 30 miles or so.

“Quirky ferry to the best beach in the UK”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

Love this ferry can be a queue in the summer but out of season its all part of the trip to Shell Bay and Studland experience. Takes you from Sandbanks Peninsula to National Trust Dorset wilderness beach . This access to the purbecks is another reason that Sandbanks has become so sought after.

“Quick way to Swanage”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

It is certainly worth paying the ferry fare to use this ferry, as it takes you straight from Sandbanks across to the road straight into Swanage.

“A must if you go to Poole”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

The views are outstanding & when you get off a little cycle/walk/drive takes you to amazing beaches, queue back though can be a little long, especially Bank Holidays, 20 minutes turnaround usually

This is not only a purposeful means of transport, but 10 minutes of fun as you make the crossing -----enjoy the views of the millionaires' pads on sandbanks! Well worth the £3.50 single trip for car and passengers!
