“Love the feeling in this place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2013

The atmosphere was unreal, with the Latin music acting in the background, place is tastefully decorated and the service is awesome. It was good to speak Spanish to the guys that work there (not often do you go to a restaurant where they speak the language of the country they represent). Good was delicious!!! Highly recommend!

“Unique & quirky”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

You'd walk past Mambo on an average night thinking, 'that funny little place doesn't seem to gel' but you'd be wrong! The food is good, the waiting staff friendly and efficient, the drinks reasonably priced but the real fun starts later on when the flamenco guitar starts (apart from the very attention seeking, loud, Spanish singing lady - ouch, our ears...and toes - leave some floor for paying customers please!) because that's when it gets fun. Mambo must be one of the few 'non prescriptive' places in Poole - anything goes: there are hats to wear, bongos to beat and dances to be done. The bar staff are patient and funny and the clientele eclectic aka crazy!

A late night at Mambo is very hard to beat!

“Nice Mexican restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

Quite small, but good atmosphere, a DJ starts at rand 9.00pm on Saturdays. A choice of typical Mexican food and drinks. The service is good and the prices very affordable.

“Tapas and Sangria”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

We bought a voucher through Live Elite for 6 Tapas and a jug of sangria. We went along on a Thursday evening, the waiter was really friendly if a little over stretched, he was on his own as Barman and Waiter. The food all tasted freshly cooked and the Sangria was the best I've ever tasted, was a really huge jug too.
As we got the voucher through Live Elite it was really good value. We'll definatedly go there again. The other nonTapas dishes all looked really good to, so I can't wait to go back for another meal.
