Clean and tidy holiday accommodation. House was nicely presented with beds made up and a welcome basket in the kitchen. If we were to be picky we'd suggest that additional freezer facilities be provided . Bed linen nice and clean. Linen nice quality master bed very comfy. Two bathrooms. Kitchen area ok some of the units looking a tiny bit tired, plenty of kitchen utensils, nice cooker with electric oven and a gas hob. Dishwasher and washing machine/drier. Hot water plentiful on demand, central heating as required, nice gas fire, would prefer a rug on the laminate floor and curtains to the Windows would be so cosy, at the moment there are blinds to all windows. Beautiful position. Great views from master bedroom and kitchen dining area, lovely way to start the day by looking out to sea with a cop of coffee. Poole has plenty to offer, the quay area has some very nice restaurants and pubs. Sandbanks just a short drive, as is access to Studland via the ferry. Harbour side park is a nice area, whilst there are quite a lot of houses we found the area to be very peaceful, great walks from the doorstep. We found Simon the owner very very helpful and pleasant. Would recommend. We are booked into this property next October.
couldnt fault the place lovely views ,all the home comforts ,very clean and tidy, off road car parking a massive + made it so at night walk into town (lovely 5 min walk along waterside) have a lovely evening out and stroll back, recommend karma restaurant and la lupa restaurant.
Just spent a week here and had a really nice relaxing holiday.Lovely well equipped clean home with views across to Sandbanks and Brownsea island.
only a short walk into Poole quay for restaurants and shops or the cruises for brownsea island, wareham or try Swanage where you can catch the old steam train to Corfe Castle.
I would definitely recommend this house for nice peaceful home from home
This is a lovely, clean, well equipped holiday home in a great location with super views over to Sandbanks. The beds were comfortable with nice bed linen. I think it's a popular let but Simon must take a lot of care to look after it and keep it nice for holiday makers. He was very easy and pleasant to deal with. Parking was fine, one allocated space and we found a visitor space close by as our family party had two cars.
Would certainly stay again if looking for a holiday property in Poole.
Stayed over Easter for a week. House is fantastic, a real home from home. Three large bedrooms, bathroom and shower room, lounge kitchen and smaller living room all well equipped. Full central heating easy to operate. One parking space for the house and guest spaces available too.
Poole Quay, pubs, restaurants, shops, Poole Park, softplay, skating rink and boating lake all within walking distance. Bus stop right outside the house which circles Poole. Tower Park water park/bowling/cinema a 20min drive away. Sandbanks beach 30mins drive away.
I would recommend this house to anyone - I will definitely be booking again!
Great location, lovely views over Poole harbour , short walk along the sea front into Poole which has a variety of good coffee shops & restaurants. Supermarkets are very close to the holiday accommodation & in walking distance .The local bus that runs along the sea front is very handy , with the bus stop close by . The accommodation is clean , tidy & has everything that is required for an enjoyable holiday . Views from the master bedroom are lovely & the balcony is in a sunny position even in February! The owner Simon is very helpful , is keen on feedback about his property & acts promptly with any issues . A great place to stay with spacious accommodation, we will definitely be back next year.
The house is well equipped, clean and the location is unbeatable. The views are out of this world - Sandbanks and Brownsea Island !! The Poole area has it all - beaches, Poole Park, countryside, coastal walks and simply tons of local attractions.
