“Lovely!”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

This is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. After a walk around the park you can stop for a coffee, lunch or just an ice cream. Now that the walled garden has had a makeover it is great place to sit in the sunshine.

“No cycling!!”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

We were staying at the nearby South Lytchett Manor Caravan Site and wanted to cycle to Upton Country Park. Upon arrival we were met with lots a 'No Cycling' signs which was a shame as the park is lovely. We eventually left the park in favour of an excellent cycle track around the creek to Poole, crossing the ne Sails Bridge and then back via Hamworthy. We will go back to Upton Country Park but wont take our bikes we will explore what the park as to offer in by way of walks.

“Wedding Fair”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

We visited Upton House and were pleasantly surprised to find that parking is free and there are ample spaces. There are nice walks around the grounds which enable you to view the harbour. There are plenty of toilets which were also free and kept very clean and tidy. On the day of our visit the house was open as there was a wedding fair the entrance to which was £1. The house is lovely inside and a super venue for a wedding. In the entrance hall there is a huge chandelier and a galleried staircase which looks very grand. There is a small cafe but we didn't visit it this time but will definitely go back. In the grounds there is a walled garden which is very attractive. This is a great place for a low cost day out, lots of room for children to run around safely and acres of space for a picnic and to play games.

“Great Day out for all the family”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

There's so much to occupy you here. We love watching the birds so there are couple of hides to go to. Lovely walks along the water and through wooded areas. Large spaces for children to run about in safely. A duck pond so you can feed the ducks and then the cafe which has been reburbished. Seats outside should you want a view of the walled garden. Menu choices not great but all served with a cheery smile from the learning difficulties youngsters there. then there's the Peacock Gallery to view the latest display from local artists.
