“An excellent, free community resource.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012

The gardens are always kept beautifully and I never get tired of wandering around amongst the trees, down to the marshy area with bird hides.
The now revamped Peacock cafe an Gallery are also excellent community resources. There is a great variety of cake and other food on offer which professionally served by people with learning disabilities. Good for Poole Borough.! They do well to offer employment to the disadvantaged.
The Gallery is great too - putting on a good variety of frequently changing exhibitions.
Toilet facilities are excellent too.
A family triendly free park where you can feed the ducks, spot birds, walk the dog, play boule (petanque), have a pic-nic, look at art and get a nice cup of tea. Great.

Upton Country Park is lovely. The walks are great and the Tea shop reall y nice. There was an art exhibition when we visited which added to the charm. The house is really pretty.

“must visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2012

wonderful place.... fab ducks.... free parking..... great cafe. The park employ a variety of local people, some of whom are adults with SENs. Gives it a feelgood factor you don't get in more commercial places. Really good selection of plants for sale. Always buy my sunflowers there

“A walk in the woods”

Peaceful surroundings, always a pleasure to just wander. New water feature interesting apart from hoards of children dashing in and out and screaming at the top of their voice's.

“Park here a while and enjoy yourselves”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2012

This is one of the jewells in our crown, completely free. Come and run walk enjoy the sceenery, freedom of space is its core asset.
Countryside a cafe laods of walks cycle ways and a lake. Bird hides and reserve whats not to like. Upton House holds variuos functions through out the year. There's something for every one the renewed walled garden will be a stuning back drop to events too and enlargens the cafe. Free freedom and free space our council do look after us..
