“Great fun, a good way to see Harry's rocks (if you can get that far) and a few tips to get max out of it”

To sum it up - it was a blast!
An hour of riding, with about 30 mins of prep time to suit up, short walk to the skis and instructions. It was my first time on Jet skis. Took me a couple of mins to get the hang of it. Bumped on to the side once. We spent about 15 mins to get a better hang of the craft, and then we were off. Weather wasn't great that day, and the water was a little choppy once we headed out into deeper waters. The skis were pretty powerful - 1500cc engines, and apparently can do 50 mph. That's pretty fast on water.

The plan was to head towards Old Harry's rocks. We couldn't get that far cause as I mentioned, the water was choppy. Occasionally, the drop from the top of the crest to the trough was about a meter. It was pretty exciting and was a wild ride. I was doing a decent clip regardless of the weather, and so managed to get thrown off once, but it's no problem really. You simply swim to the ski, clambered back on, and off you go again.

* Bring goggles, particularly if you are wearing contact lens. Quite a bit of spray can come your way
* There are no lockers. So locking valuables in your car works best
* The walk to the skis is made barefoot. If you have sensitive feet, bring slippers you could afford to lose. At the end of the walk, you will have to be left in the open in the jet ski parking area

We were met at the cabin by a couple of lovely people - got changed and went off to the jet skis - we were 2 couples. After a brief 'lesson' we were off. Once the instructor was happy we had mastered the basics he just let us go for it - it was absolutely brilliant fun! The sea salt in your eyes was a bit stingy but bearable! Being on the back was a bit painful on the old back at times when you land after flying off a wave - my partner didn't realise this when I was on the back - so when it was his turn I got my own back!
My advice - go for it - time flies when you are having fun and this was fab!

We booked for 18 people for a stag do, the team were hugely helpful in advance. The day itself was fantastic a full comprehensive use of the jet skis in all sorts of water conditions. Even the nervous on the shore were fighting for control by the end. There was little talk of much else later on. The stag had decided to put a jet ski on his wedding list to see if anyone was feeling generous.

We were given a full kit (wetsuits, life jackets, helmets) and a full brief on safety for the skis themselves and harbour practice. The also locked up our vehicle keys. Then there was a detailed instruction on use and once on the water everyone (each ski had 2 people) had a chance to get familiar before moving onto the faster experiences.

In all, great value, great experience, a must if you are in the area (or not in the area!)

The weather was somewhat up and down leading up to the day and the guys were in constant communication and managed our expectations well. On the day itself, one of the activities was cancelled, however we were reimbursed for this and given the difficulty, we were given a little extra time on the water. Great customer service which added to the enjoyment of the day.

We booked a session for 20 people, riding as 10 doubles but due to hangovers and bad backs, people pulled out so it left 10 of us, each with our own jet ski and an hour to experience how awesome they are...Yes it is a pricey activity (£60 each) but go-karting is about the same for an hour and doesn't come close to being as much fun. We went on a windy day but still maxed out the jet skis and the instructors were superb in gaining our confidence and then letting us take full control of the hour.

Nothing better to blow the cob-webs away and you'll be talking about it for years to come, can't recommend highly enough!!

A great experience with great guys, will be back very soon!!
