We had our wedding ceremony and reception at this hotel and stayed there for the night. The hotel is in a perfect location overlooking poole harbour, so we were very lucky to have perfect weather as it meant all our guests could take in the stunning views. The staff at the hotel are very professional, polite and attentive. The catering for our wedding was 'buffet' style and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Many commented, including myself, that their chips were the best they had ever eaten!! My husband and i stayed in the hotel that night. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern, with fantastic views, what more could ask for. I have also had afternoon tea and cake on the terrace and it was amazing.

We held our daughters Wedding Reception at the Harbour Heights on 18th Sept 2010 and what a day it was. From the moment we arrived from the church everything went like clockwork. We have had so many people telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The staff could not do enough for us or our guests. A huge thank you to Hannah, the Wedding Co-ordinator and her team. We stayed overnight as did several others and our room with its stunning view was simply amazing. Breakfast the following morning for 12 of us was just the perfect end to an absolutely wonderful Wedding. Thank you so much to all the staff. Wish we could do it all again.

Booked an inland room at a promo rate of £160 and thought we'd be getting something quite special. As it turned out, I thought the overall experience was a major disappointment, In my opinion, the room was compact and unremarkable. We couldn't get the bath jets to work, and tried to contact reception but the phone didn't work either. With the exception of the guy who checked us in we found the service borderline indifferent, and had to flag down staff at breakfast to be noticed / served. The hotel does have great views over Poole harbour and the breakfast itself is excellent, but if I go back to Poole I'll book a B&B.

I have to agree with previou reviewers here.

Attending a friend's birthday party at this hotel, I found some of the staff far from professional. One guest described it as attempting to hold a five star event in a three star hotel.

Three stars is being too kind!

Stayed 2 nights while we explored the area & loved it. Make sure you pay the extra for a sea view room- well worth it

The poor attitude of staff took away from the experience of staying in a potentially lovely hotel. Numerous staff treated my family and I (as well as friends also staying at the hotel) as though we were an inconvenience and naughty! They spoke rudely, abruptly, and with no regard. My 11 month and 3 1/2 yr old daughters were covered in splinters on their hands and legs from crawling around on the decking. After half an hour of pulling them out of my screaming girls, i went to mention it to a senior member of staff, and suggested maybe a warning sign or something. the staff member showed no care or remorse abouty the situation and even implied I was lying about it happening on their decking.
the hotel's one redeeming gem, is paul, an awesome manager who is a total credit to the hotel. he went above and beyond to try and make us comfortable.

A lovely Boutique hotel situated on high ground on Sandbanks Poole, We had a Superior Room with a Juliet balcony with the most amazing view the Sunset was spectacular. Room was furnished to a high standard with a Jacuzzi bath in the bathroom. The hotel was busy when we stayed but quiet and no noise in corridors or at night. We Ordered room service lovely food and very prompt service. The staff where extremely helpful and polite with the personal service of a boutique hotel.

A definite recommendation from ourselves we will be re visiting
