We stayed at Laurel cottage on 23rd October and could not fault it. We had been travelling around for a week and had visited Lulworth Cove including the walk over to Durdle Door. We were feeling a bit tired when we arrived but were welcomed by John who showed us to our room which was very spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. There is also a large comfy lounge to relax and meet other guests. John also recommended a local eatery where Laurel cottage guests can enjoy a free bottle of wine. The breakfast was delicious and we continued on our journey feeling very relaxed and having had great value for money. We would definately recommend Laurel cottage to anyone thinking of staying in this area, it really was exceptional.

Stayed in this b&b on sat 13th oct and a very nice place it is. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean a very nice en suite bathroom and probably the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, The breakfast was superb in both presentation and quality and the staff/owner were very friendly.
Would reccomend this B&B to even my most fussy of friends and would have no hessitation in returning again.

We stayed at Laurel cottage for four days to explore the area. The location was very good for Poole,Corfe castle and the New Forest. The B&B was just off the main route into Poole but in a quiet semi-rural area. It's also in a very good position for catching the ferry to France.
Our room was very clean and bright and I found the shower very good and appreciated all the extra towels that were provided. We felt comfortable there and really appreciated the friendly, helpful service from the owners.
I would recommend Laurel Cottage based on our time there and hope to come back in the summer when I can enjoy the pool!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back overlook the pool and garden.

Our superb two night stay was our first time at Laurel Cottage but it definately won't be our last, we were already planning to return in 2013 as we closed the garden gate behind us!

This bed and breakfast is a gorgeous cottage in a peaceful and quiet location. We were made very welcome by the friendly owners and the staff who did everything to make our stay happy. The B&B is immaculate and very clean. We were spoilt by the bright spacious bedroom with gorgeous white bed linen, large comfy bed and a superbly appointed on-suite. There is a pool, large beautiful gardens, a conservatory, and excellent off-road parking. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty to eat, nothing was too much trouble. There is also a beautiful large comfortable lounge that guests can use, perfect for relaxing.

A great location and base for visiting the area. Thank you John, Jill and your team, we had a wonderful stay.

Just spent a lovely week at Laurel Cottage. Missed it as soon as we drove away. Lovely, friendly staff. John and Jill are the perfect hosts. Lovely family, and Wendy is fantastic with the breakfasts. Staff are very hospitable. Cleanliness is paramount for us - towels were changed daily, rooms were cleaned and plenty of drink sachets in our room when we returned. We have stayed at the Laurels Cottage B&B three years running and always had a great time. A very relaxed atmosphere. All in all an excellent holiday. we will be back. Jenny & Phil Murray.
