Went to see Paul Hollywood in the Main Hall, seats were brought restricted view but could see fine row G 7 and 8. Staff very efficient, long queue for coffee interval as usual where ever you go could have done with more staff. Box office staff very pleasant.

We went to the opening night at the Gordon Craig Theatre, we had an excellent night. It is a traditional panto, lots of shouting "behind you" and a sing a long. The stars of the show were the Dame and the genie- we laughed so much. The theatre is easy to get to, from the train and near car parking. The bar was not too expensive. A great night out all round.

came here to watch Karen Carpenter tribute Oct 2013 and was impressed with way the event was organised. Once you collected your tickets from the box office there is a cafe where you can get snacks and hot drinks whilst waiting to be ushered into your performance. The theatre itself was big and spacious, tidy and clean and the sound was of good quality. Before your entertainment starts you can pre order your drinks for the interval which meant that they were ready for you on a side table when you came out which saved a lot of queuing. The show itself was superb, it is a must if you are a Carpenters fan. We returned to the Gordon Craig in the December to watch the pantomime Cinderella and again had fun and was impressed. Just waiting to go again some time and maybe use their restaurant Pi which sounds nice.

The show itself was great with good performances and excellent sound. The seating provides a good view wherever you sit.

However, the seats are not very wide, and you feel somewhat squashed in as a result.

The biggest problem, especially given the lack of space, was the temperature. The air conditioning was on, but either couldn't cope or they didn't want to turn it up. When I commented to a member of staff at the interval how uncomfortable it was, all I got was the statement, "yes, it's a bit warm, isn't it?" Even the performers were fanning themselves and commented on how warm it was.

The show guide is very similar to Milton Keynes, with pretty much the same acts. MK is far more comfortable, more space in the seats, and decent air conditioning making for a much more pleasant experience.
