We went to the Oyster Reach for a quick drink at a quiet time (5pm on a Saturday). We stood at the bar for about 15 minutes and were totally ignored by about three staff behind the bar who were busy faffing about but not really doing anything. They served a couple of other guests despite the fact we had clearly been waiting longer. The waitresses seemed not to know what they were doing. It took about 20 minutes to get some coffees and drinks (5 in total). It just felt like we were invisible. Horrible frustrating experience.

Most of the time we visit the oyster reach we don't pay for our food because it's rubbish. What idiot decided to remove the lovely sofa's in the bar.

Id name the awful staff at the time but they were never around long enough for me to even read their name badges. Sat at the table for a total of 1hr 35mins and only had main courses! The waitress forgot that we had not been given a bill and overall I felt like we were an inconvenience to the whole waiting staff

I had not been here for a long time, my daughters invited me out for an "off the cuff" meal and we ended up here. The restaurant was packed with Christmas "do's" so we headed to the bar and found an empty table. The place was very, very busy (which is usually a good sign) but the staff were still friendly and helpful. We were told that there might be a delay due to the number of people there however our starters arrived quite quickly and when these were cleared we were told there might be a 20 minute delay. There was a delay but not 20 minutes, we were happy chatting so not a problem. It may be only pub grub/bar food but we all thought it was good. Would go back again.
