The restaurant was not very busy at all however we waited a good half hour to receive our meal only to find it was cold...we sent it back and the waiter did not come back over to apologise or to tell us they were doing fresh veg. We finally got our hot meal however the fish was dry as it was reheated. We have been to the restaurant before and thoroughly enjoyed our meal so maybe the chef was having a bad day!! However good menu and nice feeling to the place.

A very pleasant dining experience! The decor is trendy and the atmosphere was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful with my allergy and the prices are great for the quality. I spend a lot of time in Ipswich on business and I was not disappointed with this restaurant. The menu caters for everyone I think and the mussels are to die for, really yummy! The only downside, which isn't their fault is the small parking area, but it's pretty near the town centre, so it's not too bad.

The atmosphere and clientel extremely good as was the food of course. I just love those mussels done in that creamy sauce and the fish generally hust out of this world. Really good, well done to all!

As Loch Fyne lovers, we were pleased to see a busy restaurant and a welcoming smile from the waiter on arrival. I had booked on line for a Saturday evening and we had a super table by a window. Our drink orders were taken immediately, very basic, just a bottle of muscadet. Unfortunately, this is where the slow service started, in my opinion get the customers their drink asap and they will generally be happy for a while. The wine took at least 20 minutes to come, which was not a great start. the starters arrived quite soon after that, but then we had another wait of over 20mins for our main course. It was such a shame, as all the staff were so pleasant and happy at their work (although an apology for the wait, would have been nice) The food was excellent a basic fish and chips and superb moules with pommes frites. However to get a higher mark the food and wine had to be getting to us much quicker. It actually hurts to give a loch fyne restaurant only a average mark, as the food is always so good and normally really good quick service.

The Big Boys' Breakfast Club (http://bbbc.tadpole.fii.me) gave this restaurant a go for our September outing. Well presented plateful, but could have been a little hotter, especially as they were not busy. Excellent black pudding & tasty sausages, but (over-easy) eggs not quite as requested. Additional bonus of kipper starter to share which was a departure from our norm - tasty, but was a bit rubbery for a speciality fish restaurant.

Very pleasant and attentive staff. We would go again, but there is plenty more fish in the sea for a Breakfast Club to try.
