“Very tasty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2013

I have been to this restaurant a few times, I always order the orange chicken with noodles and rice on the side as it is so delicious!

The restaurant itself is a pleasure to be in, the decor is beautiful, the temperature is just right, and it never seems over-crowded or noisy.

In terms of value for money, I would say it is very much average - the food is tasty but you don't get a huge amount for your money.

“Great food and great service.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2013

Great place to eat a drink. The food is simply delicious and the price (including drinks) is reasonable too. If you're not sure of what to order, the staff are very helpful - or you could simply try the numerous options of the mixed set menu list. "Weeping Tiger" is my pick of the menu. All in all I'd recommend to anyone who wants to try something different.

“Delicious flavorsom food and friendly service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013 via mobile

We went for the set menu for four it had every type of meat which was nice . And the portions were more than enough.

I loved their thai green curry and the shrimps in a hot spicy sauce. I also like the dish that looked like a beef steak.

Every thing looked and tasted great.

We were all impressed and were happy to pay 18.95 each for the food and friendly service.

They welcomed our little girl do I would say it is child friendly.

“Pre-Wedding Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013

I use this restaurant with my Fiancée maybe 1-2 times a month and for good reason. It's perfect for that casual meal when you just say "Let's not bother cooking" and want to eat out. I recently took some friends in, on the night before my wedding and they all enjoyed the food a great deal commenting on how each dish and element tasted so good and they will all be coming back; now they know about it. Some other Far-Eastern restaurants seem to have dishes that all taste the same and this is not the case here. We are now married and even called in on the last night of our honey-moon as it is within walking distance of The Salthouse Hotel and the Ipswich Waterfront. We just like it for what it is - A nice place to eat with an easy atmosphere. It's main plus point is the exceptional value for money - You're paying for the staff and the food, not the owners Range Rover... If you are not sure what to have, go for the mixed starter and the Pad-Thai. If you don't like hot, they always accommodate you. You also see families in on the early evenings too and the staff are great with all types of customer.

“Gloopy, fatty, bland, unrepresentitive of Thai cuisine”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

Ate here with family on a visit to East Anglia, though we were not locals, so went on reviews.

Having eaten Thai food in the past and having an excellent local Thai restaurant to compare this to, I have to say that this version of Thai cuisine was way below par.

Opting for the vegetarian banquet for 3, barring the green curry which was of expected Thai standard, every dish was coated in what I could only describe as gloopy grease. There were some decent flavours lurking below the layers of fat, but the overriding taste was grease and more grease. If I wanted a grease fest I would have visited a cheap Chinese chippy.

Overall, this was overpriced for the quality of food on offer, at least from a vegetarian point of view. The meat eaters in our party had no complaints and the service was good. Just a pity the food had to be so laden in grease.
