We stumbled across this restaurant having not booked anywhere pre Simple Minds at the Regent. When we arrived we were met by friendly staff who on checking the reservations said we could have a table but only for an hour and a half which was fine as we were tight for time.
We ordered main courses only and a bottle of Thai Sauvignon. The Crispy Fried Cod was just ok , not the biggest portion and the chilli sauce was sweet but with a strong taste of fish sauce which overpowered the dish. The Chicken Dish which had a sweet and sour sauce was very bland and an extremely small portion as was the accompanying fried rice, although we only ordered one portion to share as we were looking for something light it would not have been nearly enough for one if we were having a longer fuller meal.
The wine was quite forgettable , it was a first for me and on this experience a last.
Service was efficient and friendly enough however on this visit the food was at best avaerage.
