You can relax in its wonderful atmosphere and its polished brass ambience. From a quick snack for lunch on the upper deck to a romantic dinner on the lower deck, it is the perfect place for an evening on the sea front.

“Excellent French food in an unusual setting”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Had lunch at Mariners on a weekday. Lovely ambiance, not busy but service a bit slow. Food excellent: modern French style with outstanding sauces. Would definitely return probably for a romantic dinner as the setting really lends itself.

“A real french restaurant with top wine, food and service at a reasonable price”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

The food is really great as is the service. The Chef Frederick has a really good menue choice which changes regularly.

This was the first day back after their January holidays.

As with restaurants in France, the house wine is a representation of the restaurant.. Excellent quality at a very reasonable price ( Cheaper than our local pub house wine but much, much better).

We visit reqularly and never choose the wine any more, relying on Denise the maitre D to select one. Knowing our taste he always chooses a good wine fo the occasion. We have never sent one back. He often recommends the house wine so this is an indication of the pride they have in what they serve. Its not just about selling the most expensive.

The service is always good and I know from friends who remark on the friedly welcome.
For those who like thew water, ths is a ship, so the views over the marina are good throughout the year.

This is our most favourite restaurant. Thank you Denise, Frederick and your team. .2013 is going to be another good year.

“wonderful food and wonderful service”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

The food is delicious and the service is attentive but unobtrusive - perfect. The house wine is just as house wine should be - a representation of the house - excellent!
