Spent two nights here attending a family wedding.Including .the reception that was held in the .
Rooms were very comfortable and beds/pillows excellent.Lovely evening meal on friday night and a good breakfast on the two mornings.
All staff were excellent, service always polite, rooms clean. The reception meal was lovely and while we were there 'Murphys' was half price!!!!
Duty manager was Carl who always had a cheeky smile carried out his 101 duties seamlessly (thanks Carl for putting up with us (well me anyway).
Therefore, well recommended.

Service from staff was poor. The entire hotel is dated and rooms quite old. Food in the bar/restaurant is unreasonably expensive and very poor vegetarian options on offer. Wi-fi connection speed is 512 kbps, very slow. No free wifi on offer, extremely high charges for daily wifi use. The positive side is free entry to David Lloyd fitness centre across the road. I found some of the bar staff to be quite rude and unhelpful.

we went to ipswich to relax a bit from the london hustle and bustle, but not go too far and it was the perfect place. the hotel is about a 5-10 min drive from the city centre so it was nice and quiet but also had plenty of places to eat. at a walking distance and the option of using the David Lloyd gym across the road for free. i did not feel like going out so i used the mini gym at the hotel which was perfectly adequate wth many different machines. from the moment i called a few days before travelling, i found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. the ladies at reception, michelle from the restaurant and the cleaning ladies were very friendly giving advise on the area and generally chatting to us. the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable but i found the pillows too soft so had to sleep without them. i enjoyed the breakfasts we had at the hotel and the fish and chips on our first night were also well cooked and presented however it was a first for both myself and my sister eating fish and chips with skinny fries.when we went to the town we found it to be lovely and a great place for shopping.
overall - the service was the most outstanding thing about this hotel, the staff were so friendly and put you at ease that it if i have to return to the area, this would be my first choice. the room was comfortable and clean and simple. the food was average to good but with all the options of take out close by, you can eat in or out.

We stayed one night. Room was clean and tidy, comfortable bed and choice of hard or soft pillows. The hotel has a mini by but also an arrangement with the David Lloyd club over the road for guests to use for free. This was excellent as the club had fantastic gym and pool, normally £16 for guests.

No free wifi.

Room was presented well. Temperature was far too hot. Unable to turn radiators down. Window only opened a couple of cms. Became unbearable so left as early as possible wearing a t shirt to car. Ridiculous.

Good Morning Sirs, thank you firstly for appreciating our room standards, we have invested in training and developing of our housekeeping team. I am surprised to learn that the radiator valve malfunctioned. We have a fulltime maintenance team onsite that would have dealt with the problem and if we were unable to resolve the issue we would gladly offer an alternative room. Can you please contact me direct to confirm that you have reported this to our management team? Quinton.oshea@kewgreen.co.uk. Kind Regards

I've stayed here twice and found it the same each time - pleasant and efficient staff but restaurant not a strength - probably because it doesn't attract much trade, being off the beaten track. Was not impressed by hoovering carpet for breakfast before I'd finished my dinner on the first occasion. Rooms are clean and well serviced and the car park is convenient.

Would use it mainly because of loyalty card points.
