“Need to look after customers first - not friends”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

The coffee's OK and the cake was alright but we weren't exactly made to feel welcome as the proprietors were engrossed in dealing with some friends (maybe regular customers)

We don't live in the area, so we're unlikely to be back anyway, but if we were locals we wouldn't be returning, and we'd be warning our friends not to go.

“Great coffee - a boutique cafe, love it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Popped in at lunch time today to meet a friend and had a fab coffee and a slice of ginger cake, very enjoyable - great location for me as I work just out of town. Lovely and light and bright inside and saw that they do ciabattas so next time will have lunch! Fab little seating area out the back - what a gem!!

“A little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

Had been meaning to pop in since the opening and bumping into a pal in town was the perfect opportunity to try it out. Lovely stylish interior in a beautiful old building in quirky St Peters St. with a really relaxed ambiance. The staff were cheery and attentive but in no way intrusive, as so often happens these days. My pal eats a gluten free diet and was delighted with her huge slab of gluten free chocolate and lime cake. My fruit scone was big enough for a light lunch with raspberry jam which must've been homemade - delicious. I loved the unusual dishes for jam & butter. No plastic in sight. We also ordered a soya milk cappuccino - no problem. this lovely little coffee shop is a real oasis, away from the big chains and noise and bustle of the town centre. This is just what Ipswich needed. Will be heading back very soon.

“Cute cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013 via mobile

Love this little cafe. The outside courtyard was wonderful on the sunny lunchtime I visited, with not many places offering an outside area in the town centre this is a real bonus. Staff were attentive & the minimal menu had something for everyone. Good selection of drinks & the cakes on the counter looked homemade & delicious! Inside the cafe has a rustic charm which would be lovely anytime of the year. I'll definitely be going back!
