“Short break”

A fabulous weekend stay with staff, who are easily the friendliest and most helpful staff in the world.
The restaurant food was great, albeit from a small menu as far as choice is concerned, but you'll be glad you stopped there to have a meal!

The hotel is situated a couple of hundred yards from the Marina and if you are lucky enough you can get a view of this.

It is on a one way system and quite easy to get to, there is a car park within the hotel which we missed and ended up in an overspill external car park, but were directed back to the main one when asked staff for assistance. The receptionist was superb and extremely friendly and welcoming.

Typical Premier Inn rooms, clean, new and modern, simple but good quality. Everything inside is fresh and looks new.

Breakfast was superb and the choice and attitude of staff was excellent throughout.

Whilst waiting in the restaurant area in the evening I saw some food come out and that looked superb too. The staff we encountered couldn't do enough for us and their attitudes were exemplary.

We paid £49 per room (2 rooms) and £8.25 pp for breakfast on top of this. Both great value for money.

No matter what your reason, this hotel and restauarant are recommended, clean, bright, fresh, modern and lots of room in the rooms. Various pillows available, air con in the room, TV, drink facilities too.

Room Tip: The higher the better for rooms and ask for a marina view if possible.

Ideal for quay side. Town only a short walk away. Nice staff. Hotel was full when we stayed so we had a bit of a wait for breakfast, which was not a problem. It might be an idea to have a ticket system for the breakfast wait, as we came back 15 minutes later and had to take our turn in the queue again. Hotel lovely and clean. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice.

We are retired and have not been to Ipswich before. We always stay at Premier Inns as they are clean and offer good value. This hotel ( Quayside) is quite new. Car Park ample. (see Top Tips later). Reception very helpful on arrival. Room very clean, bathroom clean and large, breakfast excellent. In other words, the usual, as expected, Premier Inn experience.
TOP TIPS...there are two car parks, ground level 50 metres from hotel and small underground car park at hotel. For better security use underground. Go for a high floor (very quiet) as hotel is on a one way road system and lower floors may be noisy. Only 10 minutes gentle walk to town centre, and 15 minutes walk from football ground. Top Place to visit..Christchurch Mansion in town centre,( Google for info.) Plenty of varied price restaurants less than 10 minutes walk.
Very good location, we parked the car and didn't use it at all during our stay. Excellent value.

Conveniently placed close to Harbour. Reasonable selection of Restaurants within easy walking distance. No problems to find and park with a choice of two car parks. Service was very good from the greeting at reception to how welcome we were made to feel when we went down to breakfast. You know exactly what to expect with a Premier Inn and this didn't fail to deliver.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that looks out towards the harbour and not the car park.
