Great idea: ice cream parlour based on fifties Americana. Incongruously situated in the middle of Ipswich, decor is authentically chromed, bright and pastel shaded - including the waitresses. Service friendly and efficient; menu centred around selection of interestingly flavoured ice creams, but includes cakes and waffles. Selection of suggested sundaes or you can build your own, with variety of toppings and sauces. Two generous scoops of excellent ice cream topped with cream and meringue pieces was £2.50: great value. Well worth a visit: no doubt will increase in popularity as the weather improves.
