we experienced this restaurant for the first time on Saturday night as a group of 4. the staff were friendly and helpful and the setting was more than adequate.
the drinks menu is pretty limited and what was there seemed overpriced.
having not been before the waitress explained the concept to us and then suggested we visit the salad bar to start......STOP don't do what we did and fill our plates with lots of salad bits. the select was surprising goo but with lots of bread and potato and pasta (which was all really nice) it was obvious that they want you to fill up on that first, therefore not wanting to eat as much meat! the meat waiters (i'm sure there is a posher name for them!) were all very friendly and attended the table very frequently with different types of meat. the meat was truly delicious, the only meat that i found slightly salty was the gammon but it was so juicy and tender it did not ruin it at all. my partner is very fussy about any fatty bits on meat and even he ate lots of different varieties, the steak was so delicious and cooked to perfection and i was pleasantly surprised that the types of meat coming around was varied and all tasty (perhaps cynically i thought that the nicer cuts of meat wouldn't appear as much on their rounds around the table but i was proven wrong- thankfully!)
the price of meal we all thought was expensive (especially if you make the rookie mistake of filling up on carb loaded salad bar items) and i found it a little strange that the same restaurant in Swindon is 2 pound cheaper!

overall a really good meal out and was a lovely treat but i do not think the price of the food or drinks is warranted.

We loved the concept of this restaurant, you can eat as much or as little as you would like. Thought for £22 pp on a Saturday night it pays to ensure you have a big appetite. Some of the meat options were a little salty but that is the Brazilian cusisine and it was all absolutely delicious with lots of different options for sides as well. I would definately reccommend this place.

Visited this place with a few mates from work on a Thursday evening. We were drawn by the concept of having meat being constantly brought to your table, partly because obviously that's unusual for a restaurant, so something a bit different, but also because it meant we could try lots of different types of meat, then eat more of whatever we preferred.

The place itself is a little bit tired and uninspiring to be honest. There were several tables of diners when we were there (it is clearly better and more popular for groups than couples), but there didn't seem to be much of an atmosphere. The female staff at the desk look really bored and fed up.

As explained in other reviews, the way it works is simple - you can go to the buffet whenever you want for salad, dough balls, rice, couscous, meatballs and a few other bits and pieces, but the 'real meat' comes to you. Every say 5 mins, a waiter comes round with a skewer, and you can have some, or skip that round if you don't fancy it. Our favourites were the rump steak and the chilli chicken. We were less keen on the ribs (both beef and pork) as they were very tough, not tender at all.

I do think it's a bit expensive for what it is though. You don't get a starter as such, so it's all just one big main course really, and £22 for a main course that you put together yourself would make you raise an eyebrow in other restaurants. It's great if you have a huge appetite, but for us I'm not convinced we got great value for money, as you get full very quickly.

Would I come again? Well, I wouldn't suggest going myself, but if someone else invited me out and wanted to come here, I'd probably come along.

Enjoyed an excellent meal in this restaurant. The meat was cooked to perfection and a limitless supply always on tap and at a reasonable price what more could you ask for - helpful staff perhaps - well its got that too !

Full marks I'll definitely being going back.

very over priced unless you are a big eater.when we arrived no body came to our table we were left to our own devices basicially get on with it .eventually when we did get served there was no conversation.also noticed that if there was just two of you the service was better. I personally think for the money there are much better resturants in Ipswich than rios where they actually want you custom.we wont be returning.
