This was our first time at the Brasserie, we went with four friends. As we walked in the warmth hit us (there was snow outside), as did the pleasant ambience of the low lighting and tasteful decor. Tables were well spaced apart giving us plenty of privacy but not isolated form other diners.
The menu was varied (I especially liked the fact there was a set £19.95 3 course menu), and lots of options for starters were also options for main course (I have often wanted 2 starters rather than a starter and a main). The meals were all freshly cooked and extremely well presented and very good value. The waitresses were lovely and friendly, helping out where we wanted roast potatoes with a meal that should have been served with mash. We felt so relaxed we spent 3 1/2 hrs at the restaurant and even though it got late, were not under any pressure to leave. We'll certainly be spreading the word about this lovely place and revisiting as soon as possible.
