Norman Foster built this modern building in the early 1970's for the multinational Insurance Company Willis. It is listed and originally had a swimming pool on the ground floor but has since been closed and used for office space, you can still see the original markings for the pool in the office. The roof has a garden with views all over Ipswich. Every year Ipswich Borough Council hold a Heritage Day and Willis open their doors for people to view. The decor is yellow walls and green floors, originally thought to have been the colours of grass and corn !!!!. the ceilings are of aluminium lighting , quite impressive for the early 1970's.
