“Mixture of seedy and high-rise chic”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

A presently failing example of regeneration - expensive high-rise apartments, derelict warehouses, posh marina, expensive restaurants, unlet shops. Quite interesting but not the success Ipswich Council obviously want it to be!

“excellent food and service”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

Been a few times, great food, great atmosphere, staff lovely, had some good evenings here, worth paying a little extra. I always say you get what you pay for.

“Simply Wonderful”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

I like this place. The views are incredible. The place itself is most charming in a fashionale way.

We arrived late sunday evening in the rain, but inside the staff were sunny and warm especially our waitress. The specials board had my favourite, mussels with cream and chorizo oh and they did it justice, followed by fish pie with pastry - not sure about that but it worked. Unfortunately I didn't have room for the bread and butter pudding with clotted ice cream - should of had a doggy bag.

“Brilliant every time”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

A vibrant and friendly establishment with attentive and professional staff - great food with menu constantly changing (signature dishes maintained due to popularity though)

Great views from upstairs and outside seating

“Not bad for Ipswich!”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Not at all bad for Ipswich, very wheelchair friendly which makes a nice change. A few more eating establishments would be welcome, but overall a good place to visit
