The origins of the mansion and the impressive collection of Art works by Gainsborough and Constable as well as Picasso, Frink etc were stunning. The collection of furniture ,costumes, glass-ware, china and pottery etc .kept us interested for several hours. The Mansion is cared for by extremely well informed and passionate curators - mostly volunteers. The parkland surrounding the museum is remarkably large.
