A welcome rest on the Great Orme walk. Coffee and cakes lovely. Surroundings are not plush (and the toilet is awful) but the staff were realy welcoming and friendly.

We had no plans to call in here at all, we did not even know it was there, BUT we are glad we did. We just happened to be driving around Marine Drive when visiting the Great Orme and fancied a cup of tea. The welcome from 2 guys was warm and friendly, nothing like in previous reviews. The Cake (never even intended to have cake) was a must have, double height Victoria Sponge, YUM, YUM. They did do a wider range of Paninis, etc, but we had plans to eat out later that night so stuck to cake.
The Café itself was homely, we spent about a hour in there looking through photograph albums etc. With no feeling of being rushed. Although they were not exactly packed out. I'm sure on a clear day the views are spectacular, however on the day we visited it was too hazy to get decent pictures.

cakes and tea lovely but sadly let down by the bad service. was served by a blonde overtanned young girl, surly, no smile. evrything was put on the tray we payed then she walked off, had to ait a few minutes until she came back where i had to ask for milk, she grunted at me put some on the tray and not a word of apology, would have rather been served by the older lady who seemed to have a good personality and manners, would go back for food but not for the apalling service

Called in one a cold January Thursday. Older couple running the place - extremely warm welcome and made to feel like long lost friends. Prices are about average, the Lemon meringue is to die for, and the sandwiches are pretty good. Lots of different types of coffee, but the hot chocolates take the biscuit. All in all, a great place to stop with stunning views.
