“Queen Victoria Llandudno”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

We have just had a great experience at the queen vitoria pub. we (14 plus 2 dogs) had booked in advance, due to the large number, and because it was a weekend evening, so expected it to be busy.
We were made very welcome, and the food was first class. Our dogs were welcome, as long as they were contained within certain areas of the pub, which is to be expected. Lets be clear though, it is the owners responsibility to keep their dog under control, and the pub has the right to ask you to leave if you cannot control you pet, as this will disrupt the experience for other guests.
I would recommend ringing beforehand if you are planning to take your dog, especially at weekends, as it is very popular, so tables are booked early. Will go back if we return to llandudno.

“Excellent pub grub”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

Having checked the Queen Victoria out on Trip Adviser we (wife & me) decided to try it for dinner last week. We called in for a drink first about five o'clock to make sure it was okay and there were plenty of workmen at the bar having a refresher on their way home. Their language was a bit industrial - unless the F word has a different meaning in Welsh! - but after half an hour they drifted away. When we returned a couple of hours later the clentele was altogether different. In a good way.
Let's be realistic about the menu. Heston Blumenthal won't be bringing Michel Roux Jr here on a fact-finding mission. What you get is pub grub, but the standard was excellent. The helpings were generous and we both cleaned our plates. The pub was clean and the staff were both cheerful and helpful.
We'd definitely call again if we were in the area.

“Birthday lunch”
Reviewed April 13, 2014 via mobile

We decided to visit the Queen Victoria as have always had wonderful visit before and we weren't disappointed this time, the staff we welcoming and friendly and showed us to a nice table (even put 2 together), as we were a large party Britney took our order at the table, another staff member gave my children activity books and pens to use also sketch pads, once the food arrived it was delicious. And just to finish off Danielle gave my girls an ice lolly each. What a lovely way to spend my birthday lunch. Thankyou. Xxx

“Wow..impressive food”
Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

Okay so the pub isn't on the seafront it is on the side street looking like it needs a refurb...BUT we arrived there..got a table straight away ordered drinks and food at the bar. the waitress and the bar staff were lovely, really friendly..the wait wasn't too long for the food and when it came I was so pleased I had chosen this pub!!

The menu is varied all the food home cooked and so tasty!! After some incredibly delicious desserts the waitress gave our kids a lollipop each, which I thought was a nice touch. Please do eat here if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed!
