Description: Osborne’s Café and Grill in Llandudno -- could there be a more romantic restaurant anywhere? Set in the Grade II listed Osborne House Hotel right on the promenade, Osborne’s is a modern tribute to high Victorian style. Softly candlelit and decorated with opulent drapery, period fireplace, gleaming chandeliers, gilt mirrors, antiques, paintings and fluted columns, the dining room still manages to be relaxed and informal. Perfect for light bites or full meals, the menu uses local produce to create inventive, seasonally-changing modern European dishes. Everyone loves the Conwy Valley lamb shank with ratatouille and basil when it’s on the menu and the Osborne’s rendering of fish and chips.

“Poor food & unhelpful staff”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

i was eating from the set menu for £20.95. As I'm a vegetarian, the one and only veggie option was risotto and goats cheese. i asked the waitress if they could do pasta, initially she said no but relented and asked the chef. Pasta & tomato sauce is not difficult to get right but all they did was dump some cheap and nasty tinned tomatoes over some pasta and chop some celery into it . That isn't cooking. That's a meal I could do a hell of a lot better myself, at home. So in conclusion, their food was rubbish and i wouldn't return.

“THE "WOW" FACTOR AT OSBORNE HOUSE HOTEL”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We went to The Osborne House Hotel, the sister hotel To the Empire Hotel, Llandudno for a meal & my goodness were we impressed.......
From entering the building this Hotel has a real "wow factor", with walls decorated in black & white with large gold italian style mirrors, & gold candlesticks, candles alight giving a warm, cosy ambience. Ornate coping around the ceiling with huge crystal chandeliers hanging from them, absolutely beautiful & very stately home like......
The Restaurant is very grand & elegant adorned with Victorian / Edwardian portraits around the room. The staff are very friendly.
The food & wine served at the Restaurant was first class, I enjoyed a dressed crab with new potatoes, absolutely delicious & the dessert of gooseberry & elderflower trifle is very moreish & very indulgent....

I highly recommend a visit to The Osborne House it is a real eye opener & I am very much looking forward to my next visit, a very enjoyable experience & the pride of LLandudno.....

“Fantastic Meal”

Great meal here with friends, followed by some fantastic cocktails. Would certainly eat here again. Also the only place I have seen with real candelabras on the wall!

“Good food”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

Four of us went here for dinner on Friday last week during a short holiday in the area. The food was excellent and the staff very efficient. The décor is well worth seeing being Victorian/Edwardian in style. The whole experience was very enjoyable and at a reasonable cost and we will definitely return next time we are in Llandudno.
