“Coffee shop in Llandudno”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

We visited this cafe on a wet bank holiday in the afternoon. We had coffee and scone which was both ok,even if it was a bit on the pricey side.We would reccomend others to come here. However, our grandaughter ordered lemonade but we think that it was really sparkling water with a slice of lemon added, which was ok but not what we ordered.

Many thanks for your recent review. We are glad you enjoyed your visit and would recommend us. Sorry you feel we are still expensive. We dissagree! Our tasty tea / coffee is from £1.95 and our scones from £1.85 freshly made in our bakery by our expert baker / patissier. We really feel they represent good value for money. However your Lemonade query does not sound right. It sounds like the syrup mix had gone. As the drink is clear, the only way staff would be aware something is wrong is when a customer tells them. it would have been changed and your drink replaced immediately.

“Love this place”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Really love this place my little treat I love the new large hot choc and normally have a very tasty tea cake but tried the Welsh rarebit today on toast unfortunately it was no more than cheese on toast with I think oregano tasteless and disappointing I make my own and recently enjoyed at Ty hwnt yr bont cafe llanrwst and alpine cafe Betws y coed please review your recipe it is awful and not true to the famous Welsh rarebit recipe at all also the place could do with a tidy up and a spruce the floor looks tatty and its starting to loose its treat appeal

Thank you for your review. We are glad you love us. Everyone seems to be enjoying our new sizes. We know we are looking a little tired and a new carpet is needed. This will hopefully be replaced after the season. We are suprised by your comment on our fabulous Welsh Rarebit. We have used the same recipe for over a decade and have never had anything but wonderful comments. Ours is made using, flour, egg yolks, Welsh cheddar, Mustard, Lea & Perrins, Sweet Wine (instead of Beer) and salt and pepper. There are certainly no herbs, and is deffnately not just cheese on toast! we're sorry it was not to your taste.

“Lovely Coffee with a great atmosphere”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

What a gem of a place. It Was very busy, which says it all. Lovely coffee, smooth and strong. Enjoyed with a large homemade teacake All for £3.80. My Wife had a pot of Tea and a scone with Jam and Cream ( I think they called it a Charity Tea, as they give money to a good cause) this was also only £3.95. Excellent, will deffinately return when visiting Llandudno again.

Thank you for your kind review. We have worked really hard recently in selecting our new menu, reducing our prices and the introduction of our Charity cream Tea has been a wonderful success. Thank you for your support. We have now sold over a thousand since January, raising an excellent £500 for Charity.

Thank you. We really appreciate your comments. Our baker is very proud of his Traditional Bara Brith recipe, we are so glad you enjoyed it. There certainly aren't many places that bake there own crumpets anymore either.

“Fabulous and at a great Price!!!!”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

Visited Llandudno over the Extravaganza weekend. Went here for lunch. It was fabulous. The cafe was extremely busy, we didn't have to wait for a table, our order was taken very quickly by a smartly dressed and well mannered young lady. We had our drinks and food served within 10 minutes. Outstanding considering they were packed to the rafters. My Brie, cranberry and ham panini was delicious, my husband had a full breakfast (which they serve all day) all freshly cooked. The coffees came with a Free small and delicate shortbread biscuit.
The price was extremely reasonable. Only wish we could have fitted in one of those stunning looking cakes. But we will deffinately be back for more.

We really appreciate your kind comments. Badgers staff work very hard in ensuring great quality and good service, sometimes this can be difficult when it gets busy. However we seem to strive on these bank holiday weekends and service is always quick and efficient. We do have a lovely new menu with lower prices and are glad you enjoyed your experience. Thanks.
