We ate here on Sat 31st Aug and were very impressed. They have an extensive specials menu and all of our fish was cooked to perfection. It is very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The owner/ chef came out to ask all the diners how their food was this was a nice touch. Would eat here again when we are back in Llandudno.

We attended the restaurant having booked a table on line from sunny Hertfordshire. Not knowing quite what to expect we were blown away by the quality and ambience of the restaurant. I strongly recommend the Monkfish and chorizo risotto as a starter it was divine. My wife's fish main course was amazing and as a special they offered T bone steak. It came cooked perfectly, and melted in the mouth. The added bonus was talking to the chef/owner who personally came to the table for a chat, not just your normal 'Is everything allright?'

If I am within 30 miles of this place again I am going back!!

Coming from Western Australia I find it difficult to rate overseas seafood restaurants but when they trade on providing a high quality fresh seafood experience then you'd have to say the Seahorse is a bit of a let down. Bland, uninspiring and just plain boring is the best I can offer.
A terrein that allegedly contained scallops when there was obviously only a small portion of scallop roe present and no actual scallop and a lemon sole that had no trace of the advertised saffron.
The equivalent of AUD$160 for what is basically food hall quality - this place needs to lift its' game and by a significant degree.

If you appreciate excellent food, service, surroundings then this is the place to visit. Our visit was purely by chance as this restaurant is tucked away amongst other restaurants, but my goodness it deserves a tremendous amount of credit, a very big well done to all who are involved with this restaurant. The choice of food was exceptional both fish dishes, meat dishes and also vegetarian, all cooked to complete perfection, the wine list was also very extensive and my golly your creme brulee exceptional!!! To sum up simple good quality ingredients cooked the way they should be. The extra added touch came at the end, something you very rarely get - we had a visit and a chat from the chef who in fact is one of the owners - a truly memorable evening. We will definitely return and highly recommend to all of our friends, wished you were not so far away!!!!!!!! Thank you
Sincere regards, Michelle & John McSherry Shropshire xx

Ate here because we heard the seafood was locally sourced. We weren't disappointed! All the food was gorgeous and great to hear the oysters and mussels were from the Menai straits.

We were a bit worried about service based in some reviews but we found the service well timed. Not rushed and not slow either.

We shared the pavlova for dessert and couldn't believe the size of it (massive) but it was as light as a feather and delicious.

Great place for a special treat.
