We have just come back from a four-night stay at Promenad and had a lovely time.
Apart from the stylish decor and faultless cleanliness that we had expected from reading others' reviews, we were charmed by the friendliness and helpfulness from Haydn and Vanessa.
This is a B&B that is more like a four or five star hotel and chatting to the owners - who did everything themselves from the room cleaning to cooking - really made it a special stay.
The breakfasts were excellent and they were not fazed by people asking for variations of the cooked breakfast menu.
I tried every variation of the breakfasts during my stay, from the full breakfast to kippers, then next day porridge and also the heavenly smoothie.
It is an easy walk from Promenad to Llandudno town centre and we borrowed a pass so we didn't have to pay for parking by the prom, though it's not exorbitant at £3 a day and free after 4pm.
The rooms are very well appointed, with kettles and tea and coffee making facilities, hairdriers, lashings of hot water for the shower etc.
Altogether this accommodation made our visit a truly memorable trip.

Room Tip: All the rooms are immaculate - we had a sea view which was fabulous, watching the early morning light catch the Great Orme and North Shore.

The Promenad B&B is a excellent place to stay, the rooms are always kept spotlessly clean, and i would recommend you get a sea view room if possible, great views across the bay. The breakfast`s cooked by Hadyn are perfect for are great start to the day, and always served with a smile and a chat by Vanessa. I really can`t recommend this wonderfull B&B enough, Great Service, Fantastic Clean Rooms with Excellent Views, and Absolutly Friendy Host`s. If you are visiting Llandudno look no further just book the Promenad , you will not be disappionted.
Big thanks to Hadyn and Vanessa for another fantastic, relaxing break, hope to return soon !!!!

Room Tip: Get a front room , great sea views!!!!!

We have recently returned from our second visit to Promenad and had our initial impressions confirmed - a truly outstanding establishment. We are seasoned travellers, extremely fussy, so feel we know what we are talking about! Everything was perfect - the warm welcome, the beautifully appointed comfortable rooms, the views, the delicious breakfasts and the stylish, elegant new decor. The whole place is spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming, with subtle styling that enhances the lovely period house.

Haydn and Vanessa are admirable hosts, always so cheerful, helpful and taking care of those small details that make all the difference. One of us is in our 10th decade, and we felt extremely well looked after. We had no trouble parking outside or very nearby.

It was rather pleasing to overhear some American guests saying how much they had enjoyed their stay - these hosts certainly showcase the best of British b and b!

We hope to return!
Judith and Rose

We stayed at the Promenad for 3 nights in August and enjoyed it very much. We had a 1.5 year old travelling with us and even if the hotel is not exactly child friendly, the hosts made easy for us and have been very helpful. The hotel is right on the beach and has great sea views. There is no reserved parking in front or back of the hotel but that's never been a problem as we always found a spot close to the hotel and thanks to our hosts had a parking pass which was very helpful and saved us quite some money. The breakfast was great and the hotel had unlimited free Wi-Fi which is helpful if you're visiting Llandudno for the first time and looking for good places to eat or see online. The price was decent for the value we got. Of course, there's always room for better (better toiletries, bigger bed, plastic toilet seat? come on...you rarely see a plastic seat toilet these days and I'm sure it doesn't cost a fortune) but overall I think we got good value for the price and Promenad lived up to the great reviews it got so far on Tripadvisor. We would highly recommend this place to everyone who travels to Llandudno.

Room Tip: get the sea view rooms for the extra cost. If you're travelling with children don't get the highest floor rooms.

The Hotel and room were generally very clean inside, although we did find a very dirty looking cotton bud on the floor next to the bed! The exterior window sill was a bit dirty, but as long as you looked at the scenery, that didn't really matter.
We had a room at the front with a bay window, which had good views of the sea and the great orme.
The room was a very good size, and the ensuite was reasonably big, although a slightly bigger shower cubicle would have been nice. (At other places, we've certainly paid more and had a much smaller room and ensuite than this.) The shower was good.
The bed was quite bouncy compared to our own, but it was comfortable enough - just different to what we're used to.
The floor was not quite level - it had a slight slope to it, but nothing to cause any concern.
We didn't use the lounge, so can't comment on it.

When other guests used their toilet or shower, you could hear it clearly - but this is probably no worse than in other similar properties.
The chairs in the window could probably do with new foam, as you could feel the frame when sitting on them.
Luckily, there were some cushions in the room which helped.

The location was good, being just a short walk to everything.

The breakfast was very good - one of the best we've had anywhere.

The owners seemed friendly, without being intrusive.
During nearly 20 years of UK holidays, this is the first time we've had our suitcase carried upstairs for us!

Parking
Pay and display on the road 10am - 4pm, free outside those hours.
We were unlucky when we arrived at 3pm - there were no spaces just outside.
But on the other days, we managed to park closer.
There are more free spaces after 6pm.
According to the hotel website's FAQ, four parking passes are available, but we were neither offered one nor needed one.

Room Tip: Choose the room with the bay window at the front. It makes all the difference in giving you a full panoramic view.
