I guess I was there on an off night - heat was turned off in my room and it was freezing, the divet/doona was a bit small for the bed so didnt cover me properly, and there was a draft coming in from the window (end of winter!). Unfortunately I didnt arrive til late and by the time I got around to doing something about it, it was 1am and I didnt want to wake the land lady - so I guess the above could have been fixed with some complaining. However.... I was then awoken 3 times between 2-6am by screaming/singing drunks outside (& Im a heavy sleeper). So between freezing and the yelling, I didnt get much sleep. Soap comes in a little sachet, barely enough. No hot chocolate in room, I dont drink tea/coffee. On the upside - Location is very central, close to the pier, and cbd. The rooms make you feel like you are, literally, at home, and the place is very clean. Free wifi, free on street parking (although I was worried about my car with the idiots outside), cooked brekky. The land lady is extremely nice.

hello traveller/guest you seem to be at odds with what was on offer at the Del-Mar I would like to respond as follows you phoned to give your arrival time 2.30 pm arrived after 9.30pm. You then parked on the front approx 1 mtr from the front door (not on the road ) your lights told us you had arrived.
Points you raised
Heating on daily 6.30 am/11.00pm if cold left on all night. All rooms have rads with thermostats yours was on zero it only needed turning on.
Draft from window all new double glazing keeps out noise and cold , you had two windows in your room one of these was open only needed closing it keeps the cold air out as well as the noise .(spare blanket in wardrobe).
Complimentary Items ie. free we supply single room with 3 coffee 3 tea milk and sugar and a pack of biscuits. 2 shampoo 2 shower gels etc. etc. most people use a certain brand and so in most cases bring their own tea /coffee or maybe chocolate etc. as well as their own toiletries.
We cannot cater for all tastes (last w k we had somebody ask for a tooth brush and yes we did have a spare.(if we can we will supply any reasonable requests).
Single bed single duvet the twin room does have double duvet on each bed first complaint in 11 years but if we have enough doubles we will start putting doubles on singles.
I hope the above answers your points.Regards Keith & Fiona.

Fiona and Bruce go out of their way to ensure your stay in Llandudno will be great. Need advice on where to go, just ask. The place is spotless, warm and welcoming. We stayed in the budget room which was small but perfectly adequate.
As an all male couple we were as welcome as anyone else.

Highly recommend

We booked the Del Mar as a last minute break and were definitely not disappointed. It does what it says on the tin! Very welcoming hosts, clean and homely. The breakfast was really delicious in a pleasant dining area. The room was clean and well equipped with lovely decor. We liked it so much that we have booked again for later in the year.

We would definitely recommend this Guesthouse to any undecided travellers. The Del Mar also has a very good location just a few minutes walk to the beach and sea area.

Well done to the owners who obviously know how to run a successful guesthouse and have got it 'just right'.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely - take your pick! We had room No. 5 which as well as being clean and comfor...

I recently stayed here for four nights whilst visiting friends in the area. From the moment I arrived I felt very much at home and was allocated a lovely en suite room on the first floor, number 2. Throughout the hotel everything was spotless and very tastefully decorated. There was a wonderful full English breakfast served each morning with all the choices I could have wished for. My room had tea/coffee making facilities and television There is also a television lounge and bar service downstairs for relaxing at the end of the day. The owners were very welcoming and attentive and I felt fully at home. Certainly look forward to a return visit.

Room Tip: Can only comment on my own room, which was on the first floor, very quiet .

Stayed here for 3 nights in February 2013 with my sister. We were met with a friendly arrival and we were upgraded for free (a very nice suprise.) We stayed in room 8 a very luxury twin room with en suite.
Had a delicious and prompt full breakfast each morning, with cereals/fruit also available, with tea and toast and orange juice. The guesthouse is in a central location, in a quiet street with hardly any noise. Town, pier and the north shore are all within 5/10 min walk.
The host's Fiona & Keith were very friendly, informative, and there to help with any needs.

A great little guesthouse. Will be sure to return.
