We stayed here in December on a 3 for 2 deal seen on TA. What a fab choice, for a really reasonable price we got a big room, very clean and fantastic breakfast. We will be staying here as our number ONE choice from now in llandudno

My wife and I had to travel to LLandudno at short notice and found this hotel with very good feedback on Tripadvisor so decided to stay here. On arrival we were met at the door by Joni with the question of "Tea or coffee?" which was most welcome as the weather was bitter (it was 11th December after all). We were shown into the lounge and the next question was "Are you allergic to cats?", my wife is so the two moggies were ejected (gently), and the drinks were brought in. Joni chatted with us while we relaxed and warmed up then showed us to our room, insisting on carrying our bag regardless of my being perfectly fit and capable of doing so myself - she is a delight. The room was comfortable with an en-suite shower/toilet that was in no way cramped. We had booked in for dinner (you have to do this before 3.00pm as Joni prepares meals to order). The meal was very enjoyable and Joni was attentive without being overpowering. The bed was comfortable and the hospitallity tray was welcome when we woke ready for a morning cuppa. Breakfast was substantial with a varied choice. We will certainly stay here on any future trips to Llandudno.

Stopped in early December .this is a very good hotel and would Have no hesitation in stopping again.the only problem is we have a 5 year old and a one year old, which left us with very little space in the family room.the breakfast was spot on and the "electrical "bed was exceptional comfy .

My wife and I chose to stay at the Clontaff hotel for one night. We were greeted by the friendly owners and were shown around. We were very pleased with our room and had a fantastic sleep. The hotel is positioned in a lovely area of Llandudno with a wonderful view of the Great Orme.
Our breakfast was lovely. My wife and I decided to stay for another night and the owners gave us a free room upgrade which once again the room was done to a very high standard.
All in all, a great establishment, great rooms, great location, great breakfast, lovely hostess and will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Both rooms we stayed in were lovely with no issues.

We decided to have a one night break, not far from home, and I found the lovely Clontarf! Located just 10mins walk from the shops but quiet back on the West Shore, this hotel is beautiful, unique and personal! The Metropolitan Room was lovely with sauna room shower and electric bed! Mark and Joni are lovely, friendly and engage all guests in the breakfast conversations! The food is very nice and nothing is too much trouble! Nothing is missed, from local guides and brochures to the iPod docking station and spare pillows and throws all in clean plastic cases, not to mention the iron AND ironing board!! We would most definitely book again, we feel we found a gem of a place and our own private bolt-hole!! Thanks! Tracy & Terry

Myself and my partner have stayed in this hotel quite a few times now and think we've stayed in nearly every room! Mark and Joni are the most friendly hosts and the rooms are beautiful. Very good value for money and we will be coming back to stay again soon :-)

After 18 months, where the Clontarf has been more-or-less my home during the working week, I think it time I wrote a brief review for anyone looking to stay there. This is the nicest place, run by a truly lovely and friendly couple, Mark & Joni, I don't believe anyone could get anwhere a warmer welcome or a more comfortable and well appointed 'boutique hotel' in the area. The Clontarf is so comfortable, quiet, friendly and full of warmth, and you can always be guaranteed a great nights sleep, I have stayed in pretty much all of their rooms now, and every one is excellently appointed. And if you want to stay in for an evening meal rather than head out I can also fully recommend their excellent menus and cuisine...............I hope that you will enjoy staying there as much as I do.............
