We stayed in a twin room - clean and comfortable EXCEPT for noise from squeaking floorboards all around during the night - returned home needing a good night's sleep! It is an old building and some refurbishment is surely called for. Also - they can't do much about the seagulls, but some double glazing might help with the noise!
No problems with the food - it is a low cost break, after all - and the hotel is in an excellent position on the prom. No need to pay the extra for parking, unless you have walking difficulties.
