Deinately the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked online and when we arrived we instantly knew we'd made a mistake! The reception area and dining room reminded us of an old folkes home. Our room 304 was on the top floor and we were kept awake the whole night by what can only be described as the sound of rats scurrying in the loft and cooing of pigeons who had also set up residence in the loft space!!
The bed linin however was clean but the shower didn't stay warm enough for 1 shower!
ABSOLUTE RUBBISH

This is quite frankly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in-and I have stayed in a lot!
Even before we arrived I telephned for directions as we were a bit lost and the man on the phone was not very helpful.Warning bells rang but it was too late to go elsewhere.
As soon as we arrived I knew my instincts were right. The outside of the hotel was in dire need of a coat of paint. Inside the same-very shabby. The manager finally appeared from somewhere-Fawlty Towers is a good description! We paid there and then and then he said to put the case in the lift. This arrived and was so small we couldnt get in with them so opted to carry then upstairs ourselves.
The corridors were so scruffy and the rooms were as bad! I had a single room which was tiny and had only a bed, wardrobe and TV .The bed had one pillow and a thin duvet but was at least clean!
The ensuite had damp patches and I didnt fancy using the shower. .The bathroom fittings were red plastic and circa 1950!!
There was only one bath towel-no hand ones-and no soap or anything.
It resembled a prison cell although they are probably better!
No usual mod cons such as phone or anything.
The worse thing was that it was freezing cold and I couldnt get the heating to work.Fiddling with the knob it came off in my hand. There were no spare blankets or anyhting-had to get up and put a tshirt on on the middle of the night.
My friend had a similar room but even worse because when she went to open the window the glass fell out of it!
The breakfast was unappetising looking and greasy.
I know it was cheap but I thought that was because hotels in Lllandudno are cheaper than elsewhere,
I couldn wait to leave.Didnt bother complaining because lots of the hotels were fully booked as it was a bank holiday.

Only thing missing was Manuel and his granddaughter, the decor suits people over the age of 60,the bathroom was too small, the shower was barely usuable, there wasn't even quilts on the bed just two sheets put together, there was a hole in the the bathroom door which was covered up by CARDBOARD!! Need i say anymore?!?!

On arrival we felt a little suspicious by the cleanliness of the fish tank in the reception area? Even more suspicious when asked to pay for the room etc before seeing it? We are not naive but probably tired and awaiting to eagerly meet some other friends.
Heaved the cases upstairs commenting on the damp plaster on the walls as we went. The room was tidy and clean (on the surface) but couldnt wait to get out and enjoy some of Llandudno.
Consoled ourselves with nice food and lots of nice drinks.
The morning couldnt come quick enough but hey lets try the full English breakfast? Do you like a small rasher of boiled bacon,a very overcooked dried sausage and all swimming in baked beans ? Thank goodness it was just the one night. Didnt think that places still existed like this. We can only feel sorry for people travelling from abroad and think that this may be up to British standard . Never again.

Avoid this place like the plague!!!!

We booked this last place last minute as everywhere was full.
It was a weekend away for a birthday treat.
we found it ok and parked our car on the front as no parking.
As soon as we started to walk up the stairs to the hotel i had a bad feeling, there was green mould all over them clearley never been cleaned!!
The man on the reception was very friendly but i did notice the ' no refunds ' sign on the desk which was unusual. We payed immidiately but wish we hadn't.
We walked up to the second floor to our room all the curtains were hanging by one curtain ring, the place was very grim, no plaster on bits of the wall but thought as long s we,ve got a bed to sleep in its ok.
Opened the door and oh my god! the bed was a large single not a double , pushed against the wall with no room at all, the windows were devoid of paint but full of dirt, the bathroom was so small you couldn,t dry yourself in it.
To top it all the telly didnt even work . we spent the whole night out dreading going back. I didn't sleep all night because i was squashed!
Breakfast wasn't any better. Rock hard egg and cheap coffee.
I'm not a snob or picky but when in pay for a double room i expect at least a double bed!
There was also only one cup and one towel which we shared.... double room???

Avoid this hotel at all costs!!
The rooms are damp, not hot water in the bathroom sink (had to boil the kettle for a wash), the curtains are falling off the rails, the windows expanded with the heat and wouldn't close, the bathroom door also expanded and wouldn't close !!
The cooked breakfast was awful bullet sausages and rubber eggs.
