Parc Llandudno is a retail park in Llandudno which opened about five years ago. You'd probably describe it as an out-of-town park although it's only just out of town, in fact it couldn't be any less out of town as it's found right at one end of Mostyn Street which is the main town centre shopping street.
Llandudno was always considered the retail capital of North Wales so this park only cemented that position. Most of the retailers were new to the town, the likes of Debenhams, BHS, Outfit, River Island and Monsoon all opened in Llandudno for the first time. A few retailers relocated from the town centre but they moved to bigger and better premises, Next for example moved from a small town centre shop to a much larger and better stocked unit on the new retail park.
In addition to shopping you'll also find a small branch of Costa Coffee and both Debenhams and BHS have nice cafes (and also free to use toilets which sometimes come in handy!).
So, why only two stars? Unfortunately the owners, in their infinite wisdom, have allowed a bunch of renowned cowboys called "Parking Eye" to scam shoppers using the car park there. In the UK parking fines can only be issued by either the police or local authorities but not by private companies, something "Parking Eye" never think to point out. If you do happen to get one of their letters a quick Google search will tell you exactly how to deal with their correspondence.
So by all means give the place a visit but if you can park elsewhere and walk. And if the owners of the site want a five star review then all they need to do is kick out the cowboys!
