Owner description: St John's Methodist Church is housed in a beautiful listed building on Llandudno's vibrant Mostyn Street, right at the heart of the town. It enjoys a reputation for sound preaching, good singing and a warm welcome for the many visitors who join us during the holiday season. The church was built in 1866 as part of a special drive to establish churches in the new holiday resorts of Victorian Britain. In the 1990s the church was beautifully restored - it is noted for its wooden ceiling and glorious modern stained glass windows. We are also wellknown for our male voice choir concerts, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the holiday season. Worship is at 11am every Sunday, and the church is also open to visitors on Thursday afternoons after our healing service at 1:45pm, and on Friday mornings when we hold our coffee mornings with extra-delicious homemade cakes...

We saw 2 fabulous male voice choirs here on our recent visit to Llandudno. At £6 each and when you get to sing "Bread of Heaven" with the choir (makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!) what more can you want.

You really must go.

Saw the Harmony Singers they gave a really varied programme from Carousel to Abba. They are on every Monday and on Tuesday saw Bangor Male Voice Choir. Lovely way to spend an evening. Could have one with a cup of tea or soft drink in the interval though. Both were full 2 hour performances.

A warm welcome was given and we were made to feel at home and comfortable by the volunteer staff. Open most mornings for tea and biscuits and all visitors are welcomed. On Tuesday evenings in the summer the Welsh Male Choirs sing at 8pm.

Thank you for your very kind review. We do our best to be open and welcoming - Friday and Tuesday (in the summer) mornings are our main days for drinks plus fantastic homemade cakes... And yes, our male voice choir concerts are legendary! We hold them on Thursday evenings as well as Tuesdays during the season (as well as occasional other days) and they are very well attended.
