Owner description: An ancient church on the Great Orme, overlooking the sea and surrounded by a historic churchyard. The church is sometimes confused with the 20th chapel in the adjoining Great Orme Cemetery. The church is open every day from 1 April to 31 October and weekends, Wednesdays and bank holidays the rest of the year, weather permitting. Open air services are held on Sundays at 11.00 am from the end of May till the end of September (in the church in bad weather) and monthly services are held in the church over winter. Information leaflets and booklets are available in the church.

This was an ancient foundation but the roof was blown off in 1839 and it was largely rebuilt, leaving little ancient here - some walls about 1500 but all the windows are modern. It was of course the original church of Llandudno parish. The setting is good, of course, especially if you like a profusion of ornamented graves, but if you are into old churches there are many other and much better old churches in the area.

Old historic church open to public. Would not go out of my way to visit it unless happened to be passing.

Hidden away just down from the summit of the Great Orme. Stroll through the grave yard and enjoy a time of peace and reflection looking out to sea.

Popped in on our way to Great Orme summit. What a peaceful place to rest - weather permitting.

According to the sign they hold open air services, indoors when wet :)
