Just been on this, the price looks a bit steep but the views on the day we did it were fantastic.
One issues was the length of time you had to wait but it was well worth it.

A bit pricey for a 5 minute ride but the views are amazing. We didn't queue at all just got straight on and my daughter and I enjoyed the gentle decent into Llandudno. Overall well worth it.

You might think that the return price of a cable car up to the Great Orme is a bit expensive - but it is worth every penny. The cable car offers spectacular and sweeping views of the sea and the countryside. And don't forget to look straight down to see the goats and sheep. There are queues to go up and to come down, and the queues do not move especially quickly because of the attention to safety. All in all a breathtaking experience.

Having never been in a cable car before thought it would be an enjoyable experience for the family. Long queue, queued for probably over an hour, got to the kiosk to find they last return car came back at 5 pm and although it didn't take long to get up to the summit we didn't manage to leave the bottom until about ten past four therefore not leaving us much time to enjoy the views etc at the top.

Single price for 2 adults and 2 children was £21, return trip was £23 which was the option we took but as indicated you had to be back at the cable cars before 5 pm.

If you purchase a return ticket you pay £21 at the bottom and the other £2 at the top when you return.

Downside was the long queue and not knowing about the times of the last cable car until we had spent all that time queuing and arrived at the kiosk to pay.

One other point, they take CASH ONLY. One family quite someway in front of us had to send the men folk off to find a cash point before returning with the relevant fares.

On busy days, it would be useful for them to maybe put signs up further down the hill where people are queuing to advise possible queuing times, the fact that they take cash only and maybe when the last return cable car leaves the summit so people can decide whether they want to wait and queue or not.
