Stayed at the hotel around the corner and had a lovely fish and chip supper from here.
Very friendly owner too.

We met for lunch there with my partner today and unfortunately we had a very bad experience with chips and customer service. Although the fish was lovely (we got breaded plaice), it was something wrong with the chips. Some of them tasted really bad, chemically or just really off and basically not eatable...I went back to the shop to let them know and to be honest, also expecting a refund for the chips as we hardly touched them. Instead, I got shouted at, told off for complaining about the “the best fish&chips shop in Llandudno” and told I’m not getting any money back.
Real shame about the service . Definitely not going back there again.

During the summer months after work/school we'll often head off as a family to the West Shore beach for a much needed hour or so of chillaxing. Usually we eat before leaving home but as an occasional treat we'll pick up fish and chips instead. Using the Orme View chippy is something of a no-brainer, it's the only fish and chip shop in the West Shore, but fortunately they serve up excellent food. All the fish is cooked to order so it's maybe a bit slower than other local chippys but that's because you're getting fresh food and not something that's been congealing on a hotplate for an indeterminate period of time. The rest of the food, chips, pies, etc is all very good as well. I also like the way the guy who I assume is the owner always throws the odd bit of Welsh into the conversation despite obviously not being Welsh!

Very good chippy in the West Shore district of Llandudno. The food is always good and fish is cooked to order so always fresh. It's a shame it isn't closer to the town centre were it would be a much appreciated alternative to the far inferior Tribells. However the West Shore beach has stunning views so we often grab a takeaway from the Orme View and head over to the beach to eat them, albeit sat in the car to avoid being dive bombed by the flying rats!
