“Beautiful West Shore”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

It does not suprise me that people return year after year. Its such a lovely place. Great walks and very dog friendly. Its lovely just to sit on a bench looking at the beautiful views.Everywhere very clean and a couple of very nice cafes if you are hungry. Cannot wait to return. Even lovlier when the sun shines.

“holiday”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

Walked to the West Shore via the cliff path. and went back to main shore via the land train. Not that keen on that shore but probably because it was not so busy as other shore

“By far the best beach”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

Miles of sand, lots of places to sit both on the beach and just on the pathway as there are lots of lovely benches. Plenty of beach for the children to play or if like me you want some quiet time to relax and read a book. You do have to watch out for jellyfish as there are a good number but on the whole an excellent beach

“Good for dogs but watch for the jellyfish!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Watch out for the jellyfish, they can sting dogs badly! Great area though for letting the dogs run around (parking nearby and poo bins!). Better when the tide is out, when it's in there's not many places to go with the dog.

“Llandudno's quiet beach”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

I have visited this beach twice in the last week on 13 and 19 July with my family. There is a great café next to the car park and the food is very good. The car park itself is amazingly cheap at £2.00 for 8 hours and there was plenty of room on both of my visits. There is also free parking nearby. We took chairs with us and sat on the beach for a while reading, sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It's advisable to take shoes or flip flops, which we did, as the part of the beach next to the car park is stony. Beyond that the beach is sandy and very wide when the tide is out. The best thing was that it was so quiet. Yes, the café was busy but the beach itself is much quieter than Llandudno's main beach. There are walks in both directions - one leads to Conway and the other is the promenade and if you take a right turn from there you can walk into the town and the northern beach. The only downside is that apart from the café there is very little shelter from the sun (we were in the middle of a heat wave when we visited) like there is on the main beach but then this won't be a problem for most of the year. All in all it is certainly well worth a day out.
