Lovely location, with great views over the bay from our sea facing room. Room was slightly old fashioned but the place has lots of old world character with a sitting room, bar and libraries of books to borrow.

Ray is a good guy and as well as knowing all there is to know about the area makes a very nice Welsh breakfast! Dog friendly hotel too which is a rarity these days.

Room Tip: Sea view room was lovely

Absolutely fantastic hotel, truely to the style of the building, the most incredibly tactile staircase, we stayed in Room 33, stunning views of the promenade and sea, our bedroom area was AMAZING. The breakfast was the best one I have ever had in a Hotel, you have to try it. Charlie, the resident Lurcher is sooo gorgeous.

Room Tip: worth paying the extra for the front rooms

The position of this hotel is fantastic, could not have had a better view anywhere. The hotel itself is friendly and very clean.I do not want to give it a bad review as i enjoyed my stay, it was just that the bedroom was very small in fact when in bed i could put my feet out of the window, that maybe a plus for some.Cannot fault the cleanliness,or the service, the breakfast was very good cooked fresh to order. We had great weather whilst we were there and it was great to sit on the patio and look over Llandudno.Would i return?,probably not.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago, my wife and I loved it. The view from our room was stunning and the breakfast was superb. The owners are slightly eccentric but delightful and very welcoming. The building itself is a work of art with stained glass, sweeping staircase and large comfy lounges. If you don't love dog's stay away, I miss having Max's head on my lap stroking his velvet ears and rubbing his tum.
Would definitely go back its delightful.

An hotel full of warmth and family , dog friendly , superb breakfast ,old fashioned Bar and the original ex-army Host who adds to the flavour of this Hotel which all combines to make your stay, don't go if you want to moan go because you want to delight in a period hotel that drags you back again and again and don't forget the Self Catering Apartment attached to the property a must for families !!!

I have stayed here many times over the last 13 years.

If go excepting a travel lodge you are going to be disappointed, this is a hotel of character and if you let it great friendliness. Ray is very chatty and knows his own mind.

The positioning is great. Not far from the beach with a great view. Hill Terrace is a bit steep but as Ray said I am looking a touch "prosperous" these days the exercise probably did me good. The resort, Orme excluded, is flat as a pancake. If you want to visit the Orme the cable car is under 5 mins walk from the front door.

Headlands it self is a Victorian Villa converted into a hotel like many others in the town, this means all the rooms are different and possess their own personality. I prefer the top floor.

Breakfasts at this stay were the best I have had in Wales. The bar is also pretty good too.

The hotel has it's own dog, some guests bring their dogs so if you aren't fond of canines then this would not be for you.

It is also the only hotel I know of with it's own seagull.

Room Tip: If you have a room with sea view it is the best view in Llandudno

If you are looking for a sterile, dull and characterless hotel then don't stay here.
The hotel is an interesting and quirky building and the view from my room was stunning. Booked on lastminute.com and got great value for money.
Liked the dog too!
