Description: MOSTYN Gallery Cafe is located upstairs at the gallery in Vaughan St., Llandudno. It's a great location and ideally suited for people to take a well earned break after a serious morning's shopping. Also, it's pretty nice to be surrounded by art all day! We're looking to provide a welcoming location where everyone can enjoy a laid-back brunch, indulge in a silky latte or a frothy cappuccino or relax with a refined afternoon tea and freshly home made cakes. Gluten-free delights, light snacks and main meals are also on offer. We will be serving milk shakes and fresh fruit smoothies, along with the Brew Tea Company’s refreshing loose leaf tea, with many different varieties for everyone's palette. The cafe is fully licensed too so you might be tempted by an alcoholic beverage. We look forward to seeing you soon. You can view our menu here, but you’ll need to call in to sample our daily specials! The café is fully accessible, with plenty of space for buggies and wheelchairs, and we welcome families with babies and children. We’re also members of the ‘Breastfeeding Welcome Scheme’. There’s FREE wi-fi and this lovely space is available to hire for both private and business functions. Private functions can be accommodated at alternative hours outside of usual opening times.

I have been many times for coffee, tea and lunch.
The lunch we had today was great in terms of the quality of food, the service and the atmosphere.
Whilst there is a lot of choice in Llandudno many places are tacky and over-priced, lacking in customer focus and just out-dated
look no further - this cafe is clean and airy
the view from the window seat beats most places
and it is convenient for both the shore and shops
the art gallery is sometimes a bit quirky but still interesting
the shop always has good stuff and much worth buying

A delicious light lunch in pleasant surroundings - an oriental slant?
Good service. We didn't think much of the exhibition though!

The menu maybe small but the quality of the salads was excellent. I am a big lover of salads and I find so many establishments serve up sad excuses for salad, but this is the exception, I chose three salads in a bowl with homemade humus and cucumber raita, with melba french bread on the side. It was very generous and the best salad combination ever, all for £5.00 which is brilliant.
The staff are nice and helpful, if I had a criticism it would be the chairs in the window which are in need of recovering.

A tour of the art gallery followed by lunch in a light airy pleasant room, what could be better. Staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient. I had the spiced lentil and carrot soup which was tasty and not too spicy for those with a delicate palate(and filling). Coffee was worth a mention, reminiscent of a Colombian bean. Latte was robust unlike some wishy-washy milky offerings of some places.

The food served was excellent, quite delicious , although the menu has not a large selection and would not suit everyone. There was no children's menu on the table. We were quite surprised how quiet it was, with only one other table occupied in the spacious attractively decorated cafe. The cafe is split into two halves by a central wall with two accesses and was very pleasant . We chose a window table with room for my grandson's pushchair, which unfortunately was near one of accesses to the other half of the cafe. The cafe started to get busier . Our food was served very quickly . Whilst we enjoyed the food but we were constantly interrupted by staff stamping past our table and the pushchair with plates of food instead of using the other access. The main concern was the fact they were passing a sleeping baby with hot food and on one plate a knife, either of which could
have been dropped at any time . When I paid the bill I told the young lady at the till that we had enjoyed the food but did not appreciate the constant stream of plates passing closely when there was an alternative access. Plus our concerns about health and safety, so sadly, we will not be patronising them again .However it is a very nice cafe and the menu suited us. They serve breakfast until 12noon for those who want it as well. Worth a try indeed.
