We stayed at Lynton House for two nights and found everything first class. We had a lovely room with a bay window where we could sit and look at the sea, the furnishings were beautiful and all brand new and everything spotlessly clean. The breakfast/dining room was lovely and light and so pleasant and breakfasts were excellent. We had a lovely welcome and very entertaining chats with Sheridan. As Llandudno is overall our favourite holiday place at home, this hotel made our visit really great this time.

Room Tip: We had a front room with a lovely side view of the sea, and being just slightly away from the seafront meant it was very quiet at night with no traffic noise to keep you awake.

We have just returned from our first trip to Llandudno, and we will be returning both to Llandudno, and to Lynton House. Everything was great, from check in to leaving. We were met by Sheridan, who made us feel very welcome, then went to our room, which was a good size, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities, with top quality products, which were replenished when our room was cleaned, even though we were only there for 2 nights! Breakfast was lovely, and there was a wide choice available, from a cooked breakfast, to smoked salmon and scrambled egg, plus help yourself to cereal and fruit, and juice, freshly brewed coffee provided (need my caffeine fix!) Tea, toast, nothing too much trouble. Thank you Sheridan, Mark and the girls, and we hope you have a great Christmas. Jeanette and Rick.

This b&b is a hidden gem, although it may not look much from the outside but it is great inside. Our room was massive, it was the room at the very top of the hotel but you did get a side sea view which is ok.

I was warmly welcomed to the hotel by the proprietor, Mark and he showed me a delightful room with a double bed with en-suite facilities plus a t.v. and tea/coffee making facility with biscuits and chocolate mints being available too along with a bottle of Welsh spring water. The room was of an above-average size for single occupancy and the bed and the seats provided were most comfortable and it was pleasantly warm. The decorations and furnishings were excellent and the bath with shower unit and toilet were in a good sized space with the wash hand basin being sited in the main bedroom. The breakfast menu could not be faulted with an excellent choice. I particularly appreciated the provision of fresh fruit and yogurt and I chose to have the Lynton grill, which consisted of 2 rashers of bacon, a sausage, an egg and a tomato with a portion of mushrooms, which I found to be perfectly cooked and satisfying to start my day. The toasted bread was of a good quality as were the choices of preserves. The meal was served by Sheridan, Mark's wife, who is a most pleasant person and very helpful. They have a small lounge on the ground floor which houses an honesty bar with a good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks plus crisps, nuts and Mars bars A file detailing numerous eating places in the town was readily available in the lounge and was most useful. I was already familiar with the town of Llandudno and find it to be a delightful resort, but staying at Lynton House very much added to the pleasure of my visit. This was my first time, but I shall definitely return there and have already recommended it to friends.

Room Tip: rooms at the back are quieter and as there is no lift if you find difficulty in climbing stairs ask for a room on the first floor.
