“First Class Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

Berin and Sarah are what makes this place particularly special, they are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. I stayed in one of the single rooms which was cosy, warm, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and the shower always had plenty of hot water. The breakfasts are 5 star; so Heston Blumenthal eat your heart out! they can both cook the perfect poached egg! Sara even gave me a hot water bottle when I had a cold and stayed in bed one day, and Berin went out of his way to take me to the bus station so I wouldn't have the long hike dragging my case early in the morning. I totally love this place and cant wait to stay again. I love the location too, a short walk to shops and the beach and 5 min walk to the railway station.

Stayed from Wednesday 14th-Saturday 17th November for the Christmas Fayre. A lovely friendly welcome from the hosts. Single room clean and tidy. Breakfast was of a very high standard and filling. Offer of breakfast brought to me on my stall when I was feeling a tad rough a couple of mornings. All in all a brilliant place to stay, wonderful hosts with polite well mannered sons and a great relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area to book here.

Just had a three night (12th-15th Nov 2012) stay at the Glascoed - and plan to return again next year, we will make sure to book in advance to guarantee our stay. It was very clean, tidy, and homely. Sarah and Berin were friendly, helpful hosts who made us feel very welcome. Our room (double,no 4) was ensuite, very clean with tea/coffee making facilities, TV and WiFi. Breakfast was an unexpected surprise, as it was freshly made full English breakfast, juice, with yoghurt or cereal available as well, don't often get that at a B&B or even a posh hotel. Will/would definitely recommend to others.

Room Tip: Room 4's ensuite (bit small) might be a bit difficult for those with mobility issues like myself...

We had a lovely weekend in Llandudno and received a very warm welcome from the hosts. Room lovely and clean and a very comfortable nights sleep. Also very good advise on restaurants and things to do. Also it is in an ideal location.

We stayed here for 2 nights on 28/29th September for my girlfriend's birthday. Our room was excellent and spotlessly clean. The hosts were fantastic, warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them.Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and good quality food sourced locally. The location is great with plenty of things to do without having to use the car.
This is one B & B that we'll definitely be returning to ourselves, and also recommending it to others.
