We had a lovely short break at the glascoed guest house and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a family room which consisted of a double bed and 2 singles which were just through a doorway in a seperate room (no door though). The breakfasts were lovely and they served proper coffee. The rooms were very clean, as was the bathroom. The shower had plenty of hot water at all times of the day. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, we would definately go back for a stay. The only down side was that the only free parking was on the street and alot of the people who work in the town would park there, so once we were parked we stayed parked until we left! The street was very quiet at night though. Top tip: eat at the cottage loaf and the victoria pubs, both meals were very good.

Thank you for your comments.
It was a delight to have you stay with us and we sincerely hope you come back again. As parents who have struggled to find suitable rooms for us and our two children in the past we know how beneficial it is to find a room with enough privacy yet peace of mind that the children are safe which we believe the room gives.
In relation to the lack of a door, this would be in contravention of the Fire regulations and so although it would appear to be a benefit, would actually mean the room would have to have a separate exit so we are unable to do this I'm afraid .

We stayed one night in the family room at the Glascoed with our two young granddaughters. Berin and Sarah did everything they could to make our short stay as comfortable as possible. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. The B&B is in a great position in Llandudno. We will definitely be back!

Just had another very comfortable stay at this Guest House whilst visiting family in Llandudno and it's a gem. Very easy to find & only a short walking distance to all Llandudno has to offer - shops, restaurants, cafes, the promenade & beach, the pier and the Great Orme tramway station. Glascoed has lovely clean bedrooms all with ensuite shower room & tea & coffee making facilities and the breakfasts are a real treat. We will be back again I'm sure.

Isnt it great when you find somewhere that delivers exactly what it should ? A b and b to my mind should always have a personal touch and the very nice family who run this deserve to be full all the time. Its not luxurious or spacious and like many b and bs the shower could be better, but it is clean comfortable and very good value. Our family (4 including two teenagers) shared a room at the top of the house with a double bed and two singles which was perfect for a night or two. You are just off the main street, a short stroll from the lovely promenade which makes Llandudno. The owner recommended the Cottage Loaf for grub and it was a good call - I guess you would describe it as a gastropub but definitely a cut above the usual fare. You can even have a nightcap back in the b and b to round off your day by the seaside!

Thank you for your comments.
Its good to know that the room works so very well for families having found it a struggle to find good family rooms ourselves in the past.
Its also great to hear that others value our recommendations for places to eat so thanks.

Have just left Glascoed guest house after three/four days and have had an excellent stay. The guest house is very inviting and Berin and Sarah along with their sons are so hospitable and friendly, really make you feel at home. The guest house is very will situated to the train station, town and sea front. With stunning views of The Great Orme at the end of the street. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for your stay. Theres a good selection at breakfast, something for everyone. I would definetly recommend a stay at the guest house and i would definetly go back again. Dawn

Spent a lovely 4 nights here. The only downside was it went too quickly! The Guest House has a really friendly family atmosphere. We had a lovely quiet room at the back of the hotel which was kept clean throughout. A good choice of cereals, yoghurt and cooked options were on offer for breakfast. Tea, coffee and milk supplies were replenished each day and there was a wealth of useful local information in the entrance. Back next year...

I'm an actor on tour, so I frequent guest houses, B&Bs and hotels twice weekly. What an absolute joy it was to stay here! My fellow cast members were greeted into such a warm family environment. The rooms are cosy and had all I might need and more. In the morning we were greeted with quite possibly the best full English breakfast we've had on tour to this day. Fresh produce, all locally sourced. Delicious!
Thank you so much for providing a home from home for us throughout our stay!
All the best, and if I'm ever in Llandudno again, I'm staying at the Glasgoed Guest House! Charlotte x

One of the great joys of this profession is meeting great people for whom it is a joy to be hosts to, and to know that is appreciated is very rewarding. You were a lovely crowd and we would be delighted to have you back to stay if you are in Llandudno.
