We were recommended to sample the delights of this lovely place and although we had visited the area many times, we had never come across this pub. As soon as you enter the building you know that your in for a treat. The atmosphere and décor give it a cosy and comfortable feel. The staff are friendly and attend to you very quickly so your not left for any length of time between ordering and food being served, which by the way is hot and plenty of it. The array of desserts in the display fridge will have you drooling and wanting to sample a bit of everything so the four of us all ordered something different so we could compare and try a little bit.
Price wise for drinks and food is a little expensive but, I think if meals were cheaper then the quality of the food would suffer. All in all a lovely afternoon treat......will be back. Thank you.

We went as a group of four for a late Sunday lunch. And it was nice, but that was about the limit, nothing special. The setting is great and the staff friendly, although the smile did seem to be held in place by pins. The car park is surrounded by lavender bushes which gives a fragrant first impression, although the millions of bees on them did cause worry to the kids. We were greeted quickly, then a rather long wait to order drinks and more for them to turn up. We took the Sunday lunches, very tasty, all the meats were well done. The portion size was only just enough, if I was hungry I would defiantly have been asking for a little more please. Between the three of us we got enough veg for two ie two pieces of broccoli and a few carrots. Also on the lamb was a large piece of fresh rosemary, good decoration but not editable and a large piece of rosemary fresh from the car park, fortunately the bees had been removed - I really could not see the point of that on my plate. The deserts were excellent - posh bread and butter pudding - lovely.

Overall good, worth a visit but lacking that vumph and please no flowers on the roast!

This place occupies the miserable hinterland between pub and restaurant. The food is of reasonable quality but is desperately overpriced for what it is.
The bar offers only three ales, two of which are mass produced rubbish and the guest was off on each occasion I have visited. But that probably won't bother you anyway because you would need to take out a mortgage if you intended to have more than one pint. It is difficult to remember that you are in rural Wales, and not in some soulless chain gastropub in central London when visiting this restaurant.

Service here was shocking, staff were incredibly rude and not interested in giving the basic customer service skills.
The pub itself is beautiful, clean and the outdoor area provides an excellent atmosphere, this is,unfortunately, where the good points end. Having read some reviews, a certain waiter there has been mentioned several times for his poor attitude and this does not seemed to have been taken on board. Food was Luke warm at best and no offer of replacement when raised.
Take this from a local... AVOID AT ALL COSTS. prices are extortionate for what you get certainly not worth £13 for a roast especially when you have to pay for extras that come as standard with most roasts eg Yorkshire puddings!!
